Our stay was just perfect. Such a comfortable home. Gorgeous views. And the most gracious and kind owners. We couldn’t have asked for more wonderful place to stay during our visit to The Lost Kitchen.

From early communications before our trip until we rolled up to the door with our host waiting for us, our short trip to Freedom was nothing short of spectacular. The house was lovely and the view was incrdeible. Our hosts Lynn and Chuck have made this house a lovely home in which to stay. The kitchen was well equipped for our cooking adventures. We were there for a Lost Kitchen visit, but i would happily go back to explore and stay longer. Very appreciative to our hosts for helping make our trip to Maine so wonderful.

We stayed 2 (wish we had stayed more!) nights here with friends of ours during our trip to New England and it was the best two nights of our trip! It was the perfect halfway stop between Portland and Acadia (about 2 hours to each). The house was spotless, beds were comfy, and the view was breathtaking. We loved sitting by the firepit as the sun went down and were amazed at the stars as well. In addition to a wonderful home the hosts Lynn and Chuck were some of the most welcoming and caring hosts we've ever had. We even forgot a few items that they graciously provided for us. You definitely won't regret booking here!

Perfect spot with all the amenities for a longer stay. We just needed a landing spot for the night for our Lost Kitchen dinner but would have loved to stay longer! Beautiful private spot with lovely views of Camden Hills!

This property is just as appears in the advertisement. It is remote and very quiet with a beautiful view. There are two bedrooms upstairs with windows along two walls. Hosts are very communicative, and came to greet us on the first day. Bring bug spray if that sort of thing bothers you.

The description and pictures don’t do justice to this beautiful location. My wife and I received last minute dinner invitation for The Lost Kitchen. If you know how rare a reservation is you know we moved heaven and earth to be there. The location is only 15min away from Freedom, Maine. Lynn and Chuck made it so easy for us to book their place as we scrambled to find accommodations. Quick replies, answered any questions and Chuck personally met us at the property to greet us. The kitchen is well stocked, A/C, soft towels, extra toiletries, grill, outdoor table, fire pit…… There is no TV, or wifi but with the views and nature all around it was a nice break from being connected. We would highly recommend staying here. If you are fortunate to visit in the fall I can only imagine miles and miles of brilliant fall leaves. Thank you again Lynn for hosting us at your beautiful home. We’ll be back soon :)
