Stayed Jun 11, 2026The overall property was clean and manicured. The pools were very clean and we enjoyed the lazy river and indoor pools. The house was very clean and offered the basics for cooking with dishes and cookware. The three levels was great for our families giving us all space. Each room had access to it own bathroom. The kids and adults enjoyed the game room. We really liked the large dining table and the comfortable outdoor seating with a fantastic view of the area. We will definitely come back.

Stayed Jun 4, 2026We rented the house for our annual vacation through VRBO only to find that the property is owned by Rent Branson. It included tickets to local attractions but we weren’t planning to go to any. They seemed to push the ticket sales. We got several texts & emails about them. Nice layout. Things that need attention:- entry mat inside the house for wet or dirty shoes- electrical outlet covers (we had an infant)- dressers or luggage racks in any room- shower curtain was dirty- more than 2 towels/washcloths per person per room and 2 towels/ wash cloths for the kitchen- disrepair of kitchen cooking pans (non stick was cooking off & all scratched up). Don’t think that is even safe to cook in!- no rug in the living room- cleanliness & disrepair of the patio furniture upstairs- cleanliness of hot tub and the area around itWe had significant rain and the roof leaked. We called and they sent someone right away but without notice. The first time I was in my nightgown. The second time, we had a sleeping baby. Nothing they could do about it while we were there. I had to message about noisy neighbors at midnight one night. They sent someone to tell them to keep it down. The next night (our last), they were doing it again. I sent another message & no response from Rent Branson at all! I’d get more specific but limited to 1500 words for review. Disappointed as we rented a different house there last year and it was very nice. To sum up what this experience was….bare minimum!

Stayed Jul 20, 2025Drift Away was a wonderful place for our family to enjoy our vacation. Great location with great amenities. The home was well stocked and had a beautiful deck with a view. We would highly recommend staying here. A 5 star rating all around!

Stayed May 23, 2025We spent 4 nights at Drift Away - we had 3 families, a total of 14 people with 8 kids ranging in age from 5 to 13 and 6 adults. Everyone had enough space to spread out and sleep comfortably. There was plenty to entertain the kids - closet full of games, Legos, toys, books, etc. TVs in every room. The small pool across from the back of the house with the fort play area was a hit. Short drive to the lazy river, indoor pools, and arcade. Walkable for the older kids but the adults drove. We had a lot of rain so spent a lot of time there. We ran out of propane in our fire pits and the property mgmt replaced them quickly. Close enough to drive to SDC and the landing but far enough to enjoy peaceful views of the lake and quiet evenings around the fire with a cocktail and mornings on the deck with a cup of coffee. There is a small cove nearby with a rock beach that looked like a great place to spend a day if it wasn't raining. Will definitely book again in the future and post closer attention to the extended forecast for better weather!!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Driftaway is a beautiful, comfortable home! The rooms are spacious. We felt at home. It accommodated our large family very well! The kitchen was just right for preparing meals and we were here at the right time of year to enjoy both the indoor and outdoor dining tables. The view from the balcony is beautiful, the Fall season in all its glory! Our grandchildren enjoyed the outdoor play area, the indoor pools and the arcade. They also enjoyed the toys provided at your home. We hope to stay again!
