Musicians Dream: Close to Universal Studios

Loved our stay.at musicians Dream! Absolutely Super hosts and wonderful house and grounds! I would think twice about working with VRBO, however, they did not address my concerns and questions. They insisted they would be there for me and help me in 24 Hrs , didn’t hear from them for 4 days and then just said they couldn’t help!! Without my kind hosts, I would never have worked out my issues!! Well done Musician’s Dream, shame on VRBO!!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful Valley Village home. The gorgeous backyard pool area is an absolute gem -- a private backyard oasis for those who love to bask in the California sunshine! The house had plenty of living spaces for us to comfortably host family and friends during our visit to LA. The neighborhood felt safe and welcoming, and we appreciated all the thoughtful amenities. Our hosts were super responsive, answered any questions quickly, and ensured that our overall experience was excellent! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would gladly book again.

I had a great stay in Jeannine and Steve’s home. I was in the area for 2.5 months for work and their home provided everything I needed and - as a woman traveling alone - felt incredibly safe. Steve and Jeannine were easy to contact but kept their distance. Main bed was super comfy and the shower was delightful!

What a perfect home to stay in when visiting Hollywood. The beds were comfortable, the house was clean, there were clear instructions for everything. There was plenty of everything (towels, shampoo, soap, silverware...). Wish we could have stayed longer. Jeannine and Steve were fantastic hosts! Highly recommend.

This was a wonderful home in a nice and convenient neighborhood. We'ver rented several homes in this area and I was impressed with the space, comfort and features The neighborhood is very walkable (though without sidewalks) and is convenient to highways, stores, coffe shops, and restaurants.

This was our fourth time staying and we always feel at home and welcome. The owners are very courteous and attentive. The house has everything you need. You barely need to pack anything, just your clothes. The market is just around the corner. Great for grabbing what you need. Target with the groceries wasn’t too far away either.

Everything about our stay was wonderful. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well-appointed and easy to navigate, and of course, the yards and the swimming pool were awesome. The landscaping is beautiful. All in all, everyone in our group felt at home and relaxed. It was perfect.

The house is absolutely lovely, a perfect little oasis and close to everything we needed for a 4 day trip. It was exactly right for our party - one adult, 2 teens - with 2 bed 2 bath and 3 beds. The house itself is completely charming, managing both character and comfort. It’s even better than in the photos, truly. My daughter literally gasped when we pulled in, it was like finding a forest cottage after the freeways of LA. The hosts have done such a wonderful job at anticipating needs but making it feel private. The backyard and pool were absolutely lovely, and the gated front yard was beautiful and calm. It was also so nice to have access to a kitchen with everything you need - it made mornings more relaxing for us. Gelson’s is just down the street! I really appreciated having off street parking. We all wished we had planned more down time to just spend at the house.

The property is as described. It really is a beautiful yard and setting. The pool was a big factor in our choice for the property and it did not disappoint. The landscaping and atmosphere was very relaxing. There was a lot of privacy in the yard. The location is great for Universal Studios too.

Beautiful yard and pool in a quiet neighborhood that is close to all the action. Great place to land at the end of our busy days. We're a musical family, and really enjoyed gathering around the piano, too! Fully stocked kitchen, laundry, and bathrooms. Definitely recommend!

The property is gorgeous. The beautiful antiques, the wood floor, the amazing gorgeous stove in the kitchen. Everything was a wonderful surprise. We enjoyed our stay here and hope to come again soon!

Beautiful and meticulously kept, Craftsmen-era Hollywood home was perfect for my wife, me, and three of our grandkids (ages 10-8) to visit Universal Studios theme park (the kids are big Harry Potter fans). The park is 10 minutes away, so we got there at the opening bell (9 a.m.), hit the most popular rides with minimal wait times (15 minutes) and then left around 1pm when both the temps and the crowds were rising. Headed back to the house and let the kids frolic in the pool to cool off. Great location!

This house exceeded our expectations! The inside of the house was definitely spacious enough for the five of us. The furnishings and the overall vibe of the house was very cozy and homey, but not cramped. The beds were very comfortable, the showers had great water pressure, and there were a good amount of basic supplies, including sunscreen and bug spray and basic seasonings in the kitchen. The retro stove was a cool added touch!The pool area was very well maintained, as was the outside greenery. Loved the multiple places to hang out in the backyard.Steve & Jeannine were very responsive throughout. We would definitely rent this place again next time we go to LA!

The house is clean, comfortable, stocked with necessities and is a well loved home. The hosts thought of everything. A perfect stay once again!

Our stay here was incredibly comfortable. This was by far the best-stocked of any vacation rental we have ever stayed in -- everything from choices of pillows, to comfy throws for watching t.v., to ziplok bags in the kitchen -- the hosts put a lot of thought and care into making a stay here a true home away from home experience. The pool was great, and we loved being able to cook on the grill poolside. Plenty of pool towels available, and we appreciated the clothesline to be able to dry swimsuits and towels!Finally, the location was super convenient to everywhere we planned to go, and pizza and grocery stores are nearby. For fun, Universal is literally just a few minutes away.

We have visited this property several times and plan to stay here again. It’sa home away from home.

Our second months-long stay in this lovely, warm home. The exceptionally attentive hosts even found a generator to keep power on during an extended outage. They made sure that we were comfortable. We look forward to another visit.
