MUSIC LOVERS DREAM: Frenchmen Street Guesthouse

The house is perfectly situated and better than you can imagine. The property owner is more than accommodating and was kind enough to give us a tour of her home and the area. If you love music then there is no better option than The Music Lovers. Our family had an amazing time making memories at this beautiful property.

Went to New Orleans with my son, daughter and future son-in-law. The house fit our needs perfectly, with three bathrooms. Felt safe with the alarm systems since there were homeless people in the area. The owner, Daphne was great. She responded quickly to a chirping noise that was coming from an extra smoke detector locked in a closet. We enjoyed our trip and our time spent here.

The VRBO was just as described. Perfect location right off Frenchmen Street, and the back patio was a great private spot to relax.

Spacious kitchen, comfortable living room, clean bathrooms. The home is larger and lovelier in person than the photographs are able to reveal. Very walkable to French Quarter, restaurants, French market, music clubs, trolley and bus stops. A great stay for our group of 7 friends.

I have so many great things to say about this home. Location: Amazing, close enough to walk just about anywhere. The House: Perfection! Plenty of rooms and bathrooms. The courtyard is how we picked this house. Coffee in the morning and cocktails before heading out in the evening. And the front porch was always fun to watch the neighborhood. The Owner: Hospitable, accommodating and clearly proud of this property. The decor of each room was individual and oh, so New Orleans. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a quintessential New Orleans trip!

You really can’t beat the location of this rental. It’s so close to Frenchman we were worried it would be loud at night, but it was not and we all slept great. Daphne is a fantastic host and really went out of her way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. Hope to get back soon!

Wonderful house in a wonderful location! One block off Frenchman with all the food and jazz music you need. Short 15 minute walk to quarter. Daphne was a great host. I would highly recommend to all!

We were thrilled at finding this property! It was perfectly situated in the Frenchman street area where live music is readily available and everything is walkable - even to the French quarter. There’s good food, drinks and music steps outside the door. We felt safe at all times and the neighborhood is friendly. There’s even a cat that eats her meals on the porch. The place was bigger than expected and very clean! We would stay again in a heartbeat.

It is an awesome place to stay and we’re already planning .to go back after hurricane season. Right around .the corner is several places to get out and party and almost all of them have very high quality bands.

When we go back we want the same place!
