We loved the location, walking distance to the beach and some restaurants. A lovely garden with an outdoor shower and view of the ICW as well! All that said, stay at your own risk. We showed up to unfinished, mudded ceilings, laundry bags in the driveway that stayed as long as we did, and dinged up walls and furniture. Corners seem to be being cut here. It’s too bad, because it could be truly exceptional.

We have always stayed oceanfront at Holden, but with a last minute decision for a beach trip, we found this home on the waterway. We were concerned, before making the trip, that it wouldn’t be our typical vacation by not having oceanfront. We ended up totally loving it and its location. We were able to walk to the beach, sunset slush, and to a public dock area with picnic tables. The street is very quiet and everyone on the street was so friendly. Watching the boats go by was an added bonus. I highly recommend this home.

Seems the owner is trying very hard to skimp on everything. Other than a good collection of wine glasses and decent plates the kitchen is painfully under stocked. A bunch of mismatched crap plastic glasses, flimsy silverware and a random collection of pots and pans that look to have been collected at various yard sales. Outdoor furnishings badly in need of upgrade. All mattresses hard as rocks. And considering that you can buy 42 TVs for less than $200, having no TV in any bedroom is ridiculous. And to top it off the front door lock (which automatically re-locks itself) requires a TEN digit entry code but almost always malfunctions before you can enter all 10 digits; rendering the front door unusable and requiring that you leave the side door unlocked just to be sure you'll be able to get back in. The house/rooms are fairly large, it was clean, but such wasted potential...

This home is great! This was our second year staying here and we had a wonderful time. House is great and plenty of room for our family and close to everything!

House is located across from inlet and was centrally located. Enjoyed watching the boats pass by and the public beach access was close. Great home for a family to make memories! Beds were to firm for our taste.

We had a wonderful vacation. The house was ok for the value, but a pretty good walk to the beach. It was clean and pleasant though. A few suggestions and things to note....the only tv is in the living room, which we didn't care about since the kids use their devices during screen time and were more interested in the beach. The carpet really needs updated, discolored spots everywhere. The outside shower needs replaced, water pressure and shower head out there was awful. The little pond downstairs didn't work and was an eye sore...would be super cute if functional and cleaned up. The stove needs updated, all the burners slant sideways. And as much as we loved the sunrise, the totally white walls, white window shades and white bedding was a little much at 6 am. It could use a splash of color and some curtains. The house was a good value though and I would recommend it. A few updates and this place could be outstanding.

It’s a nice Vacation Home if it had a lamp in house! Not a lamp in any bedrooms or anywhere! It’s a safety issue ! Otherwise we enjoyed our stay !!

My family stayed at Flip Flop Inn this year for vacation. It was the First time renting through Vacasa and also first time staying on Holden Beach. The rental process was quick and easy and the home was as described. It’s spacious and had many amenities that we enjoyed like the outside shower and an assortment of games. It was convenient to Dockside Seafood restaurant and Sunset Slush. I would suggest a golf cart to get to the beach if you are carrying a lot. We did Have to call the helpdesk one evening for help with the keypad but they were very helpful and got us right in. We will be renting from Vacasa and the flip-flop in again.

This home was perfect for our family of 5. There was plenty of space for everyone to spread and have space to play and relax. The view and location were great we lived being a bike ride away from Sunset Slush and the playground. Cooking supplies were very limited we, my advice to other families would be to bring any dishes you need for prepping food with you. Knives were dull making it impossible to prep some food. If you are looking for a high end luxury home this isn't for you. If you are looking for a great space for your family this is great!
