MUDGEE - expansive views, complete privacy, dog friendly holiday cottage

What a beautiful place to stay and relax. Views are out of this world and the house is cosy, warm and has everything you need to be comfortable. Fully fenced letting our dogs have a good adventure as well. Will book again first gap we get to go away!

Our family including our mini sausage dog recently had the opportunity to stay here over the long weekend and we found it fantastic, very relaxing with the wildlife around, the general peacefulness of the location and did I mention the views!The starlink internet connectivity was awesome as described and great for keeping the kids entertained on their technology when not outside due to the heat. (Stayed in heatwave conditions)Neil's communication was fantastic throughout our stay; an awesome understanding down to earth host!If you plan on staying here bring some bird seed for the bird feeder, the birds will appreciate it, just about everything else is covered.

Great place with a beautiful view. Well stocked kitchen and beds are comfortable. Was a little hot even with aircon but we were there during a big heatwave. Very clean. Tv is great with Netflix etc. Would go back again when the weather is cooler. Highly recommended

This was a perfect stay with my mother and husband over Christmas. We had lovely walks around the property with our border collie. Neill was easy to communicate with and quickly responded. Very relaxing. We had christmas lunch at Lowes family vineyard. Everyone was so friendly. Was an amazing few days.

Lovely location, very clean, comfortable and appreciated communication from owner and the easy access process. Lazy afternoons looking at the view, which is just gorgeous! Enjoyed seeing the beautiful birdlife and kangaroos and watching the sunset over the hills. Will definitely book again.

So many positives to our stay as soon as you walk in you feel relaxed and at home. Dog friendly , fire , comfy beds , coffee machine - and the views - awesome

We had a wonderful time, the little farm house was beautifully presented, the outdoor area was lovely, perfect for a little volleyball net and the kids lived the fire pit at night. Great location, we would definitely stay again!

Exceeded expectations. The view was spectacular. Clean, comfy beds. Kitchen had everything you needed. Wildlife at every turn. Mowed tracks to walk around the property. Went to Mudgee to visit wineries but ended up not going anywhere as it was so relaxing and peaceful.

We were not prepared for how incredible the panoramic views would be from this lovely property. None of the photos on this listing, or any that we took, even come close to how stunning the outlook is. We were floored by the beauty and sheer vastness of what we could see. You haven't seen a sunrise until you have stayed here! The house itself is simple but charming with a cosy living area, great fireplace and comfortable beds. The modern shower is a great addition. We will definitely be back!

Property was amazing. Had every thing that we needed. The views were outstanding and night sky breathtaking.

This is an absolutely stunning property. So much thought has gone into it and we loved checking out the forest and fields around it. Not to mention the great wineries and picturesque Mudgee down the road. We'll be back for sure.

Fabulous short getaway. Our dog loved being here and the fenced yard meant we didn’t need to be concerned of her whereabouts. The view was spectacular and we spent most of our time outside admiring it and the various wildlife. Our daughter is convinced she saw an echidna! The mandarins from the orchard were delicious and the fireplace kept the place cosy at night. Highly recommend staying at The Views.

Very clean and tidy, with plenty of warmth for a winter visit for 2 nights outside of Mudgee (10klm). Good amenities. Very dog friendly, however small dogs would be better, due to size of yard. We’d go back again.

It was our first time visiting Mudgee, and we knew we wanted somewhere homely, with views & for our Labrador to join us… Neil’s property was absolutely perfect. A short drive into the centre of town, but far enough away that you woke up with beautiful views across the valley & kangaroos on the lawn. We loved how cosy the place was, the perfect house for us and our dog, who absolutely loved the space to run outside. It felt very homely & comfortable straight away. We had some very cold weather but the fire kept the whole house warm. We will definitely be back!

We had an absolutely incredible stay at The Views! The house was fully equipped with everything we could possibly need, making it feel like home. And those views? Wow! They were simply breathtaking, creating the perfect cozy atmosphere for our getaway.My dog had an absolute blast running freely in the paddocks each morning, and we loved spotting kangaroos and other wildlife—it was such a peaceful experience!I can’t wait to come back for another relaxing escape. A huge thank you to Neil for being so responsive and for your fantastic hospitality! We truly had such a wholesome weekend!

The ultimate country holiday cottage experience. It’s not called The Views for no reason- views FOR DAYS in all directions, and layers of variety and countryside within the endless views. Peaceful and interesting, you can gaze at the sunrises, sunsets, clear night sky full of stars or relax by the indoor and outdoor cosy fireplaces. The internet connection is fast & excellent if you need it, and if not it’s more time to relax with a glass of wine and take in the views from every aspect- which may include the outdoor fire-warmed bath which is a fun experience. Loved the location, the farm, the views and the wildlife. Very cosy and I would highly recommend it.

My partner and I, along with our two furbabies loved our stay at The Views property. We had everything we needed and more to enjoy a comfortable stay. The doggies absolutely loved exploring the property, especially around the dam area. Surrounded by nature and the most stunning views we were spoilt for choice when it came to photo opportunities. A wonderful weekend away. Peaceful with great surrounding views. We experienced glorious hot clear days & misty mornings plus an absolute banger of a storm. We had no issues here with either of our large dogs - who had a lovely time.

It was our second visit to The Views with our two dogs. We really enjoyed drinks around the awesome fire pit, as well as toasting marshmallows, while taking in the gorgeous sunsets. Our pups loved their freedom & adventures around the property. A short drive to many wineries and Mudgee town centre. Highly recommended!

Peaceful and enjoyable

We stayed at this property for a week with a dog and a cat. The cat just enjoyed a nice runny spot by the window. The dog, who is a bordoodle, didn’t stop smiling for the duration of his stay, and for that matter neither did we. We had a delightful experience, the weather and the views were outstanding. The house was basic but clean and well provided with everything we needed for our stay. We couldn’t be any happier. Thank you Neil for allowance us to stay at your lovely home it was a privilege and a delight.

Cute and comfy cottage with expansive views that beautifully capture the sunrise and sunset. Wonderful size property with plenty of room for our dog to roam and explore. Wildlife (cows, sheep and many kangaroos) abound, not to mention the colourful visiting birdlife. A super country haven where you can relax and unwind with all the amenities for a comfortable stay.
