Stayed Sep 3, 2024The house is spacious, comfortable and fully equipped. It is a stand-alone house on a big block with a beautiful garden. The location is excellent, only a short stroll to bakeries. Cafes, restaurants and a brewery. Highly recommended.

Stayed Feb 18, 2024A comfy cottage just a very short walk to 'downtown Penguin' makes this an ideal place from which to explore northern Tasmania. The owner was very responsive to a couple of little niggles. The cottage itself has a slightly idiosyncratic layout - great for a couple or a young family, possibly less so for more adults, but that's par for the course with a heritage property. Penguin Beer and bakery only 5 mins away.

Stayed Nov 2, 2023The cottage was just as described. Well equipped and comfortable. The garden is particularly lovely and a wonderful way to ease into a day. We really appreciated the kitchen supplies provided. Penguin itself is a cute wee place and super well positioned to explore the 'tasting trail'.

Stayed Nov 12, 2023The house is cared for well, a lovely family property. We enjoyed the garden and watered plants and put water in the birdbaths. We loved the camellias and roses and being able to walk to the village.
