Stayed Apr 21, 2025I must say it was a wonderful stay. The panoramic view through the living area picture window and front porch of the Verde Valley looking towards the red rock formations of Sedona all the way to the snow capped San Francisco Peaks beyond Flagstaff is stunningly worth the price of admission. The interior decoration including wall hangings, art and objects are beautiful. Unlike every other property we've ever stayed at in Jerome with humbly dated period historical decor, this restoration remodel is clean, impressive, with impeccably excecuted construction cratsmanship sporting thouroghly modern electical and lighting features. I notice these things take note when other properties have sloppy or remedial fixes and repairs. I happened to talk to the current proprietor of the adjacent Ghost City Inn (we stayed there a while back when the founder's were in their first years of operation) and asked if she had seen the awesome Mrs. Garcia's remodel. She had not yet but relayed to me that the handiwork was all done by a local craftsman, a big noteworthy A+ plus in my book. There's plenty of clean plates, glasses, kitchenware and cookware and the coffee maker does both decent supplied K-style pods and also drip brews into an 8 cup glass carafe. Bring you own seasonings including salt and pepper. Also A+ for communication before and during our stay. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Stayed Aug 25, 2024This was one of our favorite rental homes! Jerome is a super cool town that transports you back in time to the old West copper mining days with many historical saloons, shops, and restaurants. The great thing about this house is it places you right in the action in a historic well decorated house so that you live the vibe while you stay there. Inside the house is immaculate and comfortable. I think it must have been recently remodeled. The parking is easy and the house is very close to the action while still being far enough away to feel private. Great stay! Thanks Brandon!

Stayed May 28, 2024The bungalow was perfect--it appeared newly renovated with new, high end fixtures and appliances. The kitchen was well stocked, and everything was very clean and in perfect order. The views are amazing--beyond the red rocks of Sedona, we could see the snow on the mountain at Snowbowl. In addition to taking in the views while eating at the dining table, we spent several hours on the wicker swivel rocker on the front porch enjoying the view, feeling the cool breeze, and watching the people and cars passing below. The location was perfectly convenient. It is at the entry point to the main downtown of Jerome. The nearest restaurant was 100 yards away and the Haunted Hamburger at the top of the hill was about 300 yards away. It was easy to buy something at a shop, walk 'home' to drop it off, and then go back for more shopping and eating. It was nice to have the option of entering the home from the stairway on Main Street, or the stairway leading out the back to School Street. It was also fun exploring all through the town in the morning before the shops opened and the tourists arrived. The host checked in with us regularly before and during our visit. To summarize--it was the perfect accommodation in the perfect location. We even scored the on-street parking spot out front at the base of the entry stairway.
