Welcome to the relaxing neighborhood of Harbor Island at Wrightsville Beach and Mr Frog's Figs & Ferns Cottage!

This furnished street level cottage is located in an exclusive neighborhood quietly tucked just a stroll away from the hustle & bustle of the WB strip and it's beautiful white sandy beaches. The narrow 1-way street of North Channel is a favorite for walkers, cyclists and neighbors to stop, chat and catch up on the day's activities. Our home is one of the few remaining classic cottages built in the 1940's, but updated with all the modern conveniences we enjoy. And it's one of the only solar powered homes at Wrightsville Beach that generates enough power to totally offset it's carbon footprint, along with some of our neighbors too!

The 1st floor 800 sqft 2 bed 1 bath (+ outdoor shower) offers a large living room, newly renovated bathroom, full kitchen, full size fridge, Keurig, flat screen Smart TV, fiber optic internet, washer/dryer, 2 full size beds + 1 twin pull-out sofa. Out back you’ll encounter one of the largest lush green yards in the neighborhood with a wonderful open to the stars hot outdoor shower, mature landscape, Zen gazebo for Yoga or quiet meditation, gas bar-b-que grill and a paddle board available for our guest's water adventures. We even have a Fire pit for those cooler evenings as well!

This beach cottage is also the perfect starting point to your Island adventure! Right across the street, the Island's most pristine public access to Banks Channel offers you endless paddle boarding, swimming & kayaking opportunities from a sandy beach just 30 steps from your door.

At the end of the street, you’ll find the WB Loop, a 2.5 mile scenic trail. It is a well-loved treasure that offers a walking or jogging experience you won’t find anywhere else. Feel at home with a morning run or stroll as you enjoy views of the Intracoastal Waterway (ICW), Banks Channel, shady live oaks and beautiful salt marshes as you make your way around this awesome path. While always active but never crowded, it is sure to inspire you to move! Want a different mode of transportation Bike rentals are just a 5 min walk over the Causeway bridge!

Beautiful WB Park, less than 1/2 mile away, offers 3 tennis & 9 pickleball courts, basketball, volleyball, kids play equipment, obstacle course equipment, or fields for whatever you prefer. From May-Oct, every Monday the park hosts a FARMERS MARKET Mondays 8 am - 1 pm.

All the fun at the beach making you hungry Within a 10 min walk you have a selection of the best coffee shops, restaurants, Ice Cream & Frozen Custard at the beach ~ The Workshop, Drift Coffee, Tower 7 Tex-Mex, South Beach Grill fresh catch, Poe’s, Zeke’s Beans & Bowls and Kohl's Custard. Interested in some local craft beer Flying Machine Brewery/Restaurant is a 5 min walk and Light House Beer & Wine is just down the street!
