Mountain View Home on 2 Acres w/ Wrap-Around Deck, WiFi, W/D - Great for ATVs

Beautiful cabin with everything you could need for your stay. We loved it.

FYSA: In regards to Alpine Village rental. I would give cleanliness about a 2 due to mouse feces around baseboards in kitchen and bathroom (see below ) and finding dog food etc in the bedroom area that is in the annex. I also contacted main Vacas office directly about issues with lights not working in kitchen etc. No one came by to my knowledge to fix lights. Daniel (local Vacasa mgmt.) did call, and I spoke to him, and he said he would come by, but if he did, he did not let us know. The light is still not fixed.Mouse issue: I also let Daniel and main Vacasa office know there is a mouse problem, and there are lots of mouse feces in the oven drawer and bottom cupboards in pans, etc. And around baseboards. We actually set a mouse trap and caught a mouse. The feces in with cooking items etc. Is really a sign that cleaning and maintenance is lacking. I am sending you this as I am not sure local management is doing anything about it. Additionally, instructions say to drop trash off in bins in town. ( why as there is housekeeping do renters have to haul trash?) However, bins were locked and we were not given code in any instructions. I would not rent this property again norrecommend it for rental.

Cleanliness and local management was not to a normal standard and was biggest drawback. House location was good with a nice view of hills out living room windows. We had deer come by almost every day. Wifi connectivity was good.

Clean, great views and quiet. However-- shower in main house doesn't work; mice in kitchen counter eating food; critter under main bedroom all night long scratching. Lack of washcloths. Back door does not shut properly.

Location was perfect! Lots of room for family. Very quiet even slept with the windows open. Will definitely be back!

We absolutely loved watching the deer pass through or just lay up. Lots of chipmunks really enjoyed watching them and some prairie dogs. The view of the mountains from living room was breath taking.

Nice place to stay, clean. Easy to find. The private second bedroom and bathroom is nice when staying with another couple.

The property is as advertised. We only had three people so the fact that one of the bedrooms was not accessible from inside the house was not a big deal for us but I would not want young kids in that room. The only complaint I have is that the showers have little to no water pressure at all.

We would book this cabin again. We loved the space and we enjoyed it thoroughly. It had more amenities than we expected. There was plenty of heating throughout the whole house and several cooling fans you could move where you needed them. Wonderful cross breeze through the home windows were screened made it very enjoyable. We had some great wildlife around us. The deers chipmunks and lots of birds. The Blue Jays were just gorgeous. Really nice place! We enjoyed the outside decks. Saw lots of birds, chipmunks, & a deer. Cable TV was a must for watching the Olympics!

The property was amazing! Very secluded and made us feel the Colorado atmosphere that we wanted! Absolutely stunning view of the mountains from the cabin. Cabin was homey and perfect for our vacation to South Fork! Thank you!

The house was actually bigger than we expected - we got the extra space thinking our kids (16 and 13) could have individual space but instead they were infatuated with the spiral stair case and wanted to stay in the loft area. My favorite was the wrap around porch. Perfect for reading, having morning coffee, or sitting and talking. The owners had a mason jar of bird seed in the kitchen so I put some out and befriended a chipmunk - who came back every day for more. :) Lots of birds and some pretty wild flowers in the side and back yard area. Everything you could need was in the kitchen! We loved the decor in the living area! Books and games to play were available which was nice.

Deer in the yard on two days, covered porch has a nice breeze and is a great place for outdoor meals.

We saw deer in the front yard everyday, the home is cozy and warm and we had everything we needed! Highly recommend this property if you have 4 wheel drive!
