Welcome to Bear Paw Cabin in Big Canoe, GA. Located 5 minutes from the clubhouse and lakes, this two level 3,000 sqft property is great for larger groups to gather and separate when needed. Bear Paw Cabin has a breathtaking view off the top back deck of Cox Mountain. 15 minutes from IGA Grocery Store. All roads are paved in the community. Cars will make the drive just fine. You do not need four wheel drive.

We chose to make this house a rental because of the awesome features it has like a large loaded kitchen, six bathrooms, two living areas and lots of parking. Great for multi family, wedding and group travel. Perfection! If you love to cook, this is the kitchen for you. We take pride it all of our cooking supplies. Crockpot, skillets, tons of nice pots and pans and cookware, casserole dishes. All top notch.

There are four bedrooms and all have an en suite bath as well as two half baths in the common spaces. Tons of closet space in bedrooms.

Two living rooms, one up and one down, each with a fireplace and 55 HDTV with Netflix, YouTube TV Channel Package and iHeart Radio. Very large full kitchen with granite on the main level, and smaller kitchenette area on the lower level with a mini fridge. Full washer and dryer on the main level. Propane grill on the upper deck.

***No Pets please as we like to keep this property pet hair free***

Dining Areas: Inside Main Level table for 8 and 3 at counter bar. Outdoor dining seating for 8 at main table and 4 at a smaller table.

This home has more parking than most in big Canoe. There is a two car carport as well as a half circle driveway that can easily fit 8 cars during the day. Max five cars overnight please.

Queen Suite - 2 Queen Beds. Large en suite bathroom with one sink and shower and tub combo.

Queen Bunk Suite 2 - One Queen bed and a set of twin bunk beds. Large en suite bathroom with one sink and shower and tub combo.

New Full Sleeper Sofa in Gameroom. Pillows and extra blankets in closet in downstairs bedroom.


Fun for the kids (and big kids) Ping Pong Table, Board games, giant Connect 4 and Tic Tac Toe.

Please bring your own beach towels. Bath towels not to be taken to beach or lakes please.

Wheelchair accessible coming into the home on main level. Shower in Master bath has small shower curb to enter. Toilets are *not* handicap accessible.

This home has wireless internet throughout. Bear Paw Cabin is an upscale cabin rental that offers the convenience of more privacy for larger parties, as well as the convenience of being under 5 minutes from Big Canoe Activities. This is a gated community so guests/delivery guests will need to be placed on a list to enter. We can do this for you easily each time you let us know.

Due to wildlife activity, discarding of your trash is 12 minutes from the cabin next to the North Gate entrance of Big Canoe.

***Amenities in Big Canoe are a separate charge. We can send you Amenity Rates upon request. Outdoor pool and beach open from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Only select weekends in August***

Please Note: The Clubhouse Restaurant will be closed From September 2, 2024 until Memorial Day 2025 for renovations. There are several restaurants outside the north gate that will remain open. The golf course is staying open.
