Mountain Traveler Ranch Barndominium

Loved the farm setting and the view of the elk and horses.

Hosts were friendly & accommodating. The space was rustic & unique. Space was clean.

Place had everything we needed and then some!

We loved the barn. Its close proximity to Glacier National Park, Kalispell, Flathead lake and river made it ideal! This is a working farm so there are all the critters smells and a few flies that come along with it. Having our own farm it felt like home! The beds were very comfortable, nice firm bed with cushion top. The bed slept great! We made dinner several nights at the barn and we loved the island in the kitchen, tons of room to cook and create. The place was very clean and relaxing. We spent 8 days and 7 nights here and since have recommended to our entire family and all our friends. Thank you Sue and Suny for a great stay!

We really enjoyed our stay that the barndominium! It was such a peaceful location and waking up to the horses and cows was a treat! Unfortunately, we didn't have time to take advantage of the hot tub, but all of the other amenities were great. One tip - bring your own shower stuff (soap, shampoo/conditioner). Overall we had a wonderful stay!

We were in town for a wedding. The location was close to all the places we were wanting to see in a short amount of time. It was clean, comfortable, and peaceful. We loved hearing the cows in the mornings and enjoyed seeing all the animals daily. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Property was spectacular in every way, from the interior furnishings to the views, we loved it and can’t wait to return!

Great place to stay

We had a great time staying at the Barndominium. Our 4 kids enjoyed all the animals. We explored Glacier National Park each day and relaxed in the hot tub at night. It was perfect for our family.

Mattress and hot tub allowed us to rejuvenate our bodies. Kitchen was adequately supplied. Clean and comfortable. Highly recommend!!

The Barndominium was beautiful. The owners were extremely nice and easy to work with. It is perfectly located between the Bison Range, Flathead lake and Glacier. The surrounding areas are absolutely beautiful. I would highly recommend and would definitely stay there again.

This is a beautiful and for the most part up to date place to stay. Very clean and quiet. Comfy king bed. However the smell of cat pee in the living area and bathroom is very potent. Not barn animal smell, cat pee. In my opinion it made the stay not worth the price.

All the comforts that one should need or want, with stunning views and a removed location (but close to necessities). It was beautiful and fun to watch all the happenings around us!

When we saw the “barndominium” on a working ranch, we knew it was the place for us. The charm and comfort was great, and our hosts provided helpful advice as we planned our trip. Highly recommend!

We loved our time at the Barndominium. Hosts were super nice, communicative, responsive and have a nice ranch. Quiet area away from Kalispell. Bed was comfortable, bathroom was nice, kitchen well suited, even a TV for the football games at night. Would certainly stay again.

Beautiful views of mountains out every window. Inside was tidy and looked taken care of! Had everything we needed to make a few meals there. Thanks for letting us stay!

We used this spacious and clean barndominium as a base camp for day trips to Glacier National Park, Flathead Lake, Whitefish and several others. Suny and Sue were friendly and helpful. Great experience all around.

The Cheffs are great hosts who had a well-appointed barndominium with everything you'd need during your stay. My only piece of advice would be knowing what you're booking before committing to a reservation....cows occupy the lower level of the barndo and as such, you will hear very clearly several cows mooing early in the morning and smell barn at the lower level. To be clear, the animals are completely separate from the guest entrance and the barn smells completely stay at the lower level; the main living area is quite comfortable, clean and smells great. The outdoor space, while it absolutely includes all the listed amenites, is not a very private space. Just wanted to note these items since these points of mention aren't discernable from the listing photos or description.

What an amazing vacation. Beautiful property, fabulous accommodations, friendly people, fantastic views. I could have not asked for or expected anything better. I can't wait to visit again.

Clean and cute inside with everything we needed to have a comfortable weekend stay. The kids loved sleeping in the loft area. The kitchen/living area had enough space for everyone. Thanks!
