Property was perfect for our family and our Thanksgiving. Plenty of space for people to be by themselves and great areas to come together. The stove was tricky to use and took a bit to heat up but otherwise it was a great place and would recommend.

Much time spent on the large shaded deck eating meals and sharing memories. Adjacent lake and canoe enjoyed for fishing and sightseeing. Game room used regularly. Large well stocked kitchen perfect for large family. Already looking forward to next year.

The house was as described, and the location is fantastic! It probably has the most equipped kitchen of any online rental I've stayed in. Layout was also perfect for our family to hang out and enjoy the views. Will definitely stay again if we are in the area for vacation.

The house is roomy and has a game room and outdoor hot tub which is a great place to relax after hiking the beautiful surrounding mountains. We found many new shops in Davis and Thomas. Listening to some great music and purchased some lovely art to remind us of our time here.

Here are just a few reasons we'll be back 1) The location is stunning, views of the lake and foothills. 2) easy access to the lake, canoes and the miles on manicured paths around 2 lakes 3) nice hot tub and game room 4) a beautiful well equipped kitchen and 5) plenty of technology / football screens (haha). We can't wait to return!!

Reviewer Comments: This house was a gorgeous setting, great yard, and canoeing was a very easy location to get the boats in and out of the lake. 1/3 of the rental company employees was very unfriendly and somehow condescending. Perhaps me interrupting her cigarette break was a major inconvenience. The other 2 I interacted with were very kind and hopefully will help tell the homeowner about the moldy basement smell.The basement is not usable to sleep in unless you have all the windows open for a whole day and the whole time overnight. It smells of mold and is humid even with their little dehumidifier trying to work. If my children stayed here, I would not want them sleeping in the trundle bedroom because of the horrible air quality. This house would be a phenomenal option if they installed central air to get the horrible moisture problem solved in the basement! We wouldn't have used the AC for temperature, but for humidity lowering I think it's the only hope for that humid basement. If you only have guests that can share the 4 beds upstairs, it is still a good option.

Management company ( Best of Canaan) does a great job .Property is well maintained and clean. Its location is literally at the end of the road allowing much privacy. Large living area perfect for our family. Outside deck great for lunch and dinner gatherings. Kids enjoyed canoeing on lake and exploring wooded areas. We are already booked for next year.
