Mountain bay views downtown Seward

Nerve-wracking and creepy when the host told me their neighbor saw us enter the house at 12:30 AM, intending to charge fees for an extra guest. It would’ve been perfectly fine if I had been directly informed that an additional guest incurs an extra fee, and I have no problem paying it if required by the regulations. I felt uncomfortable because the tone was judgmental, disrespectful, and made me feel like I was being condemned for a severe crime. We never saw our landlord or the neighbor during our stay but it felt like we were being watched…

Really great place to stay. Very spacious--it's an entire two-bedroom apartment with a large bathroom and a full kitchen--well furnished, very clean, and in great condition. Super convenient location on a quiet side street just two blocks from downtown, has its own parking space just off the street. No downsides to speak of, just a great, spacious, clean, quiet place to stay. Would definitely stay again.

We loved staying here in town. Great views and easy access to all you'd want to do around Seward! Spacious bedrooms & bathroom with comfy sleeping! Our favorites were the Kenai National Park 6 hr boat trip to see wildlife & glaciers! (It was fantastic) & loved the waterfront park where we saw sea lions & sea otters from shore!

Doug was a fantastic host, quite attentive and easy to communicate with. The unit was extremely clean and comfortable. Would absolutely stay here again.

The house was very clean and in a very convenient location. We were able to check in a little early which we really appreciated. The rooms were very nice and the beds very comfortable. Doug was very helpful with places to eat and visit. We would put this high on our list to visit again.

This is a great location. It is easy walk to downtown shops and restaurants. Views from the front windows are amazing! The house is well laid out and very comfortable. Doug is an excellent host. Thanks to his overview, we knew how everything in the house works. That’s a real plus.

The home was very comfortable. I am a very light sleeper and this was the quietest place I’ve ever stayed. Never moved the car. Everything was walkable. Loved it.

The location was excellent walking distance to all the shops and restaurants. The host met us to give us a tour of the property. The furniture was a bit outdated, and it would have been nice to have an outdoor seating area

Doug's place was just as described. Beautiful view, convenient to shops, restaurants, and bars. He met us for check in and provided great info on dining and activities in Seward. Comfortable beds and well appointed kitchen if you want to dine in. Very responsive during our stay. We would definitely stay here again.

Host was amazing. Upon arrival he showed us all of the amenities and how things worked. Very flexible and communication and as on point. This place is a Seward gem! The decor is perfect for the location and I loved how it had updated features but also spoke to the history of Seward.

This property was perfect for my group of 4, husband, sister and BIL. The location was great for our itinerary. The furnishings were comfortable and clean. It was great to have the kitchen facilities when we ate in. Everything was as listed in the summary of property. I especially liked that the bathroom towels/wash clothes were plentiful! And wow! That view out of the front window was amazing.

Doug’s place was perfect!! Great location, super clean, and Doug was wonderful. We left our 84 year old mom so we could do an all day excursion. Doug not only let me put him down as an in case of emergency person BUT he also came by to check on her and visit with her while we were gone. Talk about above and beyond. Mom loved the visit. You can’t go wrong booking with Doug.

Our group helps organize and volunteers to staff the annual 230 mile Alaska Relay from Mirror Lake to Seward by NxNW Relays. This Vrbo stay was our post relate place to relax and complete wrap-up in town. Its location was convenient and near the top of the hill on 2nd, offered a view of the area, as well as a well comfortable living room and bedrooms. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking our meals.

Great location in Seward within walking distance to everything. Comfortable, clean home. Met host when we arrived, was unobtrusive after that, but available if we needed him which we didn't. Everything was as listed. Good choice.

My husband and I had never been to Seward. We were grateful for our quiet and clean vrbo! It was easy to find, our host was clear with his instruction to us. Bonus: We were grateful to him for providing ‘bear spray’ for our hikes!

The property was VERY clean, well furnished and comfortable. It was the best stay of our trip. It was conveniently located within walking distance to most of the town. The kitchen was fully stocked with anything we needed and it was easy to relax after a day of adventure.
