Wonderful location

We held a multi generational family long weekend at this lovely grand mountain lodge! For 6 adults and two kids it was perfect as there was plenty of room to spread out! Kids had the lower bunk room with TV to escape to, and all adults had their own rooms with long beds - very nice!We made use of hot tub and owners thought of every detail - a bin of flip flops, hot tub towels and plastic glassware! Kitchen is exceptionally well outfitted - best I’ve seen for a vacation home! From crock pots to Dutch ovens, to several types of coffee makers! We found everything we needed.For those skiing - only issue is to access ski-in you do have to be comfortable taking a blue or black run to get back. With pioneer chair closed our main option was to take gondola up. Quickest option to ski out in Am meant a short walk and then cat track to base. But overall easy!For a family or bigger group, I highly recommend this home! Really lovely and the owner was very quick to respond.

The house was even more beautiful in person and it was so spacious! Everything was meticulous and well provided for. And Gabriel was the most responsive host ever. I would highly recommend for any large family or friend gathering at Kicking Horse. I would go back in a flash....

There was a problem with the hot water which was promptly fixed, even though it was Christmas Eve. The kitchen was well-equipped for all our Christmas Day feast

House was easy to find. Had comfortable beds and plenty of room. Great proximity to ski hill with a hot tub in the back deck. House is definitely older and feels a bit run down with cracks in the walls and stains on the carpet. Could use with some art work hung. Overall, house provided a relaxing and comfortable stay for our weekend away.

This home was excellent for our 5 day ladies golf trip! Lots of space for sleepung, visiting and hottubs!

Our family of six had the most fantastic stay at this luxurious log home nestled in the mountains of British Columbia. Surrounded by nature, the house is incredibly spacious, with plenty of areas to relax, play games, rest, or watch TV. We could easily spend time together as a group or find quiet moments alone.The large kitchen was perfect for gathering and cooking, and the massive dining table served as a great spot for meals and games alike. We absolutely loved the seclusion of the mountains—the fresh air and endless starry skies were unforgettable.On the drive to the house from Calgary, we enjoyed the beauty of Banff, Lake Louise, and Takakaw Falls. Each day in Kicking Horse, we enjoyed nearby excursions, including the suspension bridge—which my 83-year-old mother bravely crossed and loved—a grizzly bear refuge, and a wolf sanctuary. Even the Golden Museum exceeded our expectations. And the Eleven22 restaurant rivaled some of the best spots in Vancouver and Toronto!All in all, it was the perfect getaway, centered around an exceptional luxury home. Thank you, Gabriel, for all your help in getting us organized and ensuring a hassle-free, memorable vacation.

The overall experience was good. House is well equipped with kitchen and bathroom supplies. The wifi is not great, which didn’t bother me too much but a couple of the dads needed to do some online work and was a bit tricky. The beds are not super comfy and pillows are flat, so for some people that might be an issue. Bring a couple sleeping bags if you’re going to use pullout, we couldn’t find a comforter but we didn’t ask either because we had a couple sleeping bags.The fridge is small, especially for a large group so bring a plug in cooler to help with storage. We thought the house might get too hot without AC but it didn’t and it really cools off at night in the mountains. The hot tub was nice and hot, very lovely atmosphere outside. Overall, I good place for a large group of people!

The house was perfect for our family of 10 (3 married couples and some single kids).

Was just as advertised. Clean and tidy. Easy check in and check out. Spacious we had 8 people was were able to have everyone together and not feel cramped.

The chalet is in a quiet area with a lovely view of Kicking Horse area and surrounding mountains. It was easy to find and easy driving distance to Golden and Banff. The beds are comfortable, hot tub, steam shower were perks after long days of travel. The chalet was very clean and comfortable for our family. Gabriel is a great host, very responsive and helpful. We had a lovely week there, relaxing, enjoying family dinner and game nights, even roasted marshmallows and had s'mores on the deck by the kitchen. We easily could have stayed another week!

We loved our stay in Golden. It was absolutely beautiful, gorgeous views, gorgeous house. Everything was clean and comfortable. The house is well stocked with everything you might need during your stay. The best rental we have stayed at, we can't wait to come back.

We were a group of 12 adults in their 50s,The chalet is nicely set up with some amazing amenities, unfortunately its getting older. Bbq was a hazard,basement bathroom sink was broken, bed frame in upstairs bedroom either broken or just leaning on an angle,dishwasher has issues and some of the lamps don't work, hot tub lid needs replacing. Steam room was amazing, and hot tub was crystal clear

My friends and I loved the property. It was perfectly sized for our group of 10 and everyone had enough ample space. Everything was very clean and organized!

Spacious, luxurious and all amenities provided. We stayed the weekend on a snowmobiling trip and the property was perfect for gear drying, parking, hot tubbing and general relaxation. Would definitely stay again.

A true ski-in/ski-out property, this is such a cool and grand house for a group trip. The kitchen is well stocked, there's tons of room to gather (together and separately) and the access to the base area is awesome. When we were there, the wifi was being pretty difficult so it's probably not the best place if you're planning on doing heavier amounts of remote work. This also could have just been a phase where Telus was being problematic.

We hosted a corporate retreat here and it was awesome! Gabriel was very responsive and made sure everything ran smoothly. Location is ideal and would definitely recommend!

We travel to different mountains as a group of couples each year without the our kids. This year was our first at Kicking Horse and it did not disappoint. The house was better than expected with a functional layout, plenty of space for our 4 couples, and the ski in and ski out was easy to navigate. Thanks for having us, we can’t wait to come back.

It was a really nice weekend and everything was perfect.

This place was so beautiful. We had a wonderful time. Would like to point out though, that the stair case, while beautiful, was not safe for toddlers. There is room at the edges of the steps, under the rail, for a small child to slip through. As a grandma, I was nervous about it. No incidents... just lots of held breath ;)

Our family gathered to celebrated mom’s 80th bday. Upon arrival we were mesmerized by this stunning property, which was equipped with all possible amenities. We all enjoyed the property and surrounding area. We would not hesitate to rebook with Gabriel. Gabriel was always accessible and was a delight to deal with. Mom/Gran’s birthday was a hit…all 16 of us look forward to returning in the future.
