Montana Mountains Memories Moments!

The property was roomy and the kitchen was well stocked with supplies. There was a swarm of gnats in the kids' room the second night and we did not leave the doors or window open. The lake was very shallow and the bottom was covered with a thick layer of algae. The canoe was useful and we paddled to the other side where the bottom was a sand and mud mixture. Lots of movies and games but the only Blue Ray machine was in the kids' room. The TV and internet service was adequate. We did have trouble using our cell phones on the AT&T network.

The White Peak cabin, West Yellowstone was a great property! We have stayed in many homes rented by owners, and found White Peaks to be far and away the best. The special touches, that Kyle and Joyce add, to make the cabin feel like home, are much appreciated. We would stay here again, and will recommend it to family and friends!

This property is a beaut. We used it as home base from two days in Yellowstone and then spent a third day for some R&R. The kids played in the canoe and fished while I BBQ'd a tri-tip over the outdoor firepit with some adult beverages. The house is clean, well stocked, and the hosts are super responsive and accommodating. Would absolutely stay here again.

My husband and I stayed here 2 nights with our daughter, son-in-law and 2 young grandkids as a jumping off point for our trip to Yellowstone. Everything was perfect for us. The kids loved the dock on the pond and learned to paddle the canoe that was provided. We were thankful that we brought binoculars to observe the wildlife outside the beautiful picture windows, including ducks and geese on the pond, and ravens, a juvenile bald eagle and an osprey devouring a fish while perched on a nearby tree. We would definitely return if given the opportunity.

This is a wonderful cabin that my family returns to annually. We love the beautiful lake views and comfort of the cabin, and appreciate the convenience of the location to town and the park.

The location of the property (proximity to West Yellowstone and YNP) was terrific. We appreciated the outdoor extras but the pond/lake was extremely shallow. The kitchen was well-stocked and we loved the welcome basket. The house was very clean and instructions from the host were very clear. Enjoyed our stay!!!!!

This cabin was perfect for our Yellowstone vacation. My kids enjoyed the swings and making s’mores at the fire pit. The view of the lake and mountains was beautiful and serene. The property was clean and quiet and easy to get to. WiFi worked great. Easy to get in to Yellowstone each day. Definitely recommend for families!

The property is so beautiful and the setting could not have been better. So peaceful and relaxing and an incredible time to spend with family. We love sitting by the lake and the kids loved going out in the canoe. Just an amazing time! Thank you so much we hope to be back!

A true piece of Montana paradise! We absolutely LOVED our stay and we would recommend to everyone. What a beautiful place to wake up, view the sunrise, and enjoy your morning coffee with the incredible picture windows! Home is meticulously clean and fully stocked for everything you need. Very close to town, we highly recommend Firehole BBQ (especially their Mac n cheese) for a quick pick up to go, and very easy to access Yellowstone! Owners are wonderful and so friendly and helpful if you need anything. Fingers crossed we get to visit again one day soon!

Perfect for what was needed

The property was far enough off the road that it was very quiet and peaceful. The care package that was left was very sweet and lovely, and we all had enough room to be able to move around and have privacy when needed.

Lovely quiet property with great views of a lake. My daughter ranked the kayaking on the lake in her top three things she loved most about our vacation. Saying a lot given we went to Grand Tetons, Yellowstone and Glacier on this trip.

Close to Yellowstone with all the conveniences of home.

We stayed here over the 4th and it was perfect. The property is incredibly peaceful with its own private lake and dock—total serenity. The fire pit setup is amazing, and there’s so much room to relax and unwind.The deck overlooks the lake, and we spent hours just watching the wildlife—birds singing, geese gliding, even pelicans cruising by. It felt like our own little nature retreat.The house itself was spotless, quiet, and had an enclosed deck that made for the perfect morning coffee spot. The owners were absolutely great to work with—friendly, responsive, and made everything easy.Highly recommend this place… although part of me hates to let the secret out. We’ll definitely be back!

My husband fell when he misses step from entry to kitchen. Mark in some way. Banisters on front step would be an improvement. He also fell in tub shower. Grab bars would be helpful.

The house was perfect! Clean, comfortable, and located so close to the park but we felt like we were in the woods. Highly recommend!

This was our first time staying here. The kids loved going out on the kayak and seeing otters, ducks, and geese. We love how serene and peaceful it was. Wish we stayed longer. Can't wait to go back!

We love staying in this cabin so much that we come every year! It is very convenient, but surrounded by nature. Even when we took a day off from the Park, we got to enjoy watching ospreys, sandhill cranes, and deer right from the couch in the living room. The kitchen, bedrooms, and bathrooms are well appointed and very comfortable.

Staying at the White Peak Cabin was the highlight of our trip to Yellowstone. Our 8-year-old grandson and 5-yr-old granddaughter loved the canoeing on the lake as did their parents. They had good luck fishing and enjoyed seeing the ducks and beavers on the lake. The house had everything we needed to prepare meals in the kitchen and on the grill. We enjoyed eating at the table that seated all eight of us.We watched herds of buffalo walk down the road and drink from the lake and puddles, and the kids loved the swing set and fire pit. My husband especially enjoyed sitting in front of the huge window staring at the view.Kyle responded instantly to our communications. Thanks for telling us to close the gate or the yard could have been full of buffalo several times.Our vacation could not have been any better.

Great view, clean and ready to go. Had a wonderful time. Excellent location to visit the area of Yellowstone.

Our trip consisted of three days of exploring Yelowstone with 5 people. A twelve year old, 15 year old, 48 year old, and two seventy year olds over Memorial Day weekend.The location was perfect, we came out of Yellowstone each day, made a stop at a grocery store in town and then enjoyed our evenings either on the deck, screened in porch, or in the chairs down by the lake. My son used the canoe and took family members on “guided fishing tours” with quite a lot of success catching trout around towards the dam. We saw bison, beaver, and countless birds from the back deck. Watching the bald eagle fishing was a highlight. We had absolutely everything we needed and more for our stay and when we couldn’t find matches to start a fire in the fire pit the host was immediate with a response on where to find them in the house. I have stayed at many VRBO’s across the nation and internationally and I could not rank one higher than this. The memories made while at the cabin will rival those we made exploring the park for many years.

The large house was such a pleasure to stay in for our one week family vacation. The gorgeous view over the lake changes from day to day and throughout the day. The canoe ride up the river was magical with views, reflections, and beaver houses. The hosts were very communicative, and we appreciated the welcome gift basket on arrival. The beds were comfortable, the seating plentiful, and the kitchen well stocked for cooking. The close location to West Yellowstone made entering the park every day easy. We would definitely stay here again.
