Great place to stay for a weekend! The house was so big and it was nice and warm with the wood stove. There were plenty of puzzles and games, and the kitchen honestly was so nice to cook in! We stayed for 2 days while snowboarding at Crystal Mountain. Perfect for a winter getaway! Thank you so much to the hosts for being so helpful and working hard to make sure the place was perfect!

This is such a family friendly property- down to the little details of nightlights. We love the proximity to Crystal Mountain and on site trails for snow snowshoeing.

What an amazing property, we were blown away by it's beauty and magic!! Highly recommend, couldn't get much better!!! The 40 acres was perfect for out dogs to get their wiggles out off leash before heading out to be on lead all day for excursions. We will definitely be back!!!

Stayed with two families (four adults, four kids - teens and preteens). Easy to check in, super clean, comfortable beds, all the amenities we needed. We didn't have time to explore the property, but the location is amazing. Really great home base for up north activities, would definitely stay again. Stars were unbelievable.

We picked this property as a home base for a ski weekend and it was perfect! The house is comfortable and has everything needed to be away from home. We loved the 40acres and took multiple snowshoe hikes as a family. When it was time to slow down and warm up the huge selection of games was a welcomed bonus! Looking forward to return visits!!

This cottage was cute, comfortable, and well-equipped. It was a little farther from Crystal Mtn than we had hoped, but we still had a great time and appreciated the accommodations!

We were here while my partner and I got married! Our kids, my sister in law and we stayed here for a busy weekend and this place was great! Plenty of space for 5, room to roam

We loved eating out on the deck and ending every day with a fire in the fire pit. The hike to the top of the property was awesome; wonderful surprise at the top!! We prepared 25 meals during our 10-day stay, and the kitchen had everything required to make those meals. In fact, I had to rearrange some things to make room for the food! The air conditioner worked beautifully so everyone slept well. I have been on Platte Lake every summer for 65 years. It is the perfect location for access to all that the Leelenau Pennisula offers. My only suggestion: a later check out time would be nice. It was difficult to get everyone and everything up and out by 10 a.m. But that was a minor point, and I will not hesitate to rent APN again. We all loved it.

This house is in a great location near the Platte River and Sleeping Bear Lakeshore. The house was well stocked for cooking, eating, and drinking. The house had plenty of towels, firewood for fire pit as well as washer/dryer which was nice. Location was perfect as we were 5 minutes from Platte River, 20 minutes from Sleeping Bear Lakeshore Dune Climb, 10 minutes to Beulah which has a number of restaurants, 30 minutes from Glen Arbor. The house is set off the road so it feels secluded and slept 8 in beds. There are 4 beds that are up a steep staircase but a great place to put the kids during our stay. Beds on the main floor were extremely comfortable and plenty of seating for our party of 7. This property is not on the lake but we found many places to enjoy the water during our stay.

Our family really enjoyed our stay at APN. The home had fun decor and was very clean. We were in town with extended family and the home was a great central location to all the fun in the surrounding area. We are frequent visitors to the area and can definitely say this home's location is in a great spot with the Cherry Bowl down the street, Riverside Canoes a few miles away, the dunes a short drive and all the cute towns surrounding it. The owner has clearly put a lot of care into restoring the home and we hope to return. Thanks for hosting us!

Overall, this place is great! Perfect location, clean, everything in working order as it should be. Only minor issue was communication with the host/rental company. It took some time getting a response back about being able to get into the place a few hours early. Very minor issue though.
