Stayed Oct 16, 2025The neighborhood felt safe and there was plenty of on-street parking. The apartment was very clean and beds were comfortable. (Pillows maybe a little firm, but that is personal preference.)There were a couple of wasps in one of the bedrooms when we arrived. The host brought some wasp spray immediately when we let them know.There is a door that leads downstairs that was unlocked when we arrived. I would recommend the host ask their cleaning company to be sure to lock that before leaving.

Stayed Jun 27, 2025We used to live in the Shaw neighborhood and love the character and charm of the homes. The neighborhood is walkable and is conveniently located for having fun in St. Louis. The property has been nicely finished and is a great deal. We knew we would love being back in our old neighborhood and knew what to expect with the home. What we didn't know to expect is how great Julia is as a host. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. The check in process was a little different than what is on the VRBO website, but Julia let us know about the change early and it was easy to get in. Any time we had a question, she was very prompt to reply and take care of any needs we had.
