We had a great stay with everything we needed. The home was close to everything yet away from noise and crowds.

A fabulous house amongst the redwoods! Spotless and a terrific hot tub! However, in the materials for checking in, they should explain how there may be periodic electrical outages. We arrived in the dark and had no electricity, no Wi-Fi, no signal, only satellite. Nonetheless, we had a great time in the beautiful house.

We quite enjoyed our time at the Wood Chalet and its location nestled in the Redwoods. From the quite well appointed and provisioned kitchen, to the comfortable beds everything was as described. A short walk to the Russian River and a less than ten minute drive to Guerneville, this was a great jumping off point for our time in Sonoma. When on of my young nieces left her diary tucked under the pillow when we left, the owner personally drove over to the property and helped send it out to be reunited with its young author in New York.

We had a great stay! We were especially pleased with the kitchen as there were many items we don't normally see in a rental- a dutch oven, instant thermometer, and a good variety of cooking utensils were some of the most helpful items we usually have to bring ourselves. And when we needed more kitchen towels, the manager brought over a few more right away.

Loved everything about the property! It was exactly as advertised and was a wonderful, comfortable home away from home for the week. I even rebooked for next year the day before I checked out!

My family loved our stay at the Wood Chalet.. Every room feels like you are in a tree house (but with great beds), and the cathedral windows in the living area is magnificent. Not to mention to hot tub nestled in the majestic trees!!

The location of the home was a convenient distance to both the Pacific and the wineries. The home was comfortable and makes the best use of window to gain great views of the woods. We did have some difficulties with limited clothe storage and basically lived out of our suit case. Although this home has 3 bedrooms the closets within the ground floor bedroom were not available for our use. Lastly, the walk up the to the front door includes a 36 step climb and should be a consideration for those planning a stay.

The 3 of us loved all the room, hot tub, ease of access and proximity to everything. Highly recommend!

We had a great time and did wine tasting, shopping, a spa visit and ate terrific food. The house is literally in the redwoods and is spacious and clean. The beds are comfortable. The hot tub is a nice addition. The property management company was responsive. Would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely perfect and we WILL be back. And the restaurant at the end of the road had some of the best BBQ we have ever had.

Everything was as advertised. Great property, responsive owners.

This was our second trip to the Russian River area and our first stay in this beautiful home. We enjoyed everything about it. Its closeness to town/the river and a short drive to other places to see. The house was spotless and we had and plenty of room for 6 adults. The 3 bathrooms is a big plus! Loved walking every morning, so peaceful. My only suggestion would be to put window coverings on the bedroom windows, it felt a little to open to the neighborhood, especially at night but other than that, a perfect trip and we would rent again!!

Great updated home in the trees, feels like Tahoe but you’re in wine country! Easy access to downtown and multiple spots on the Russian river. Quiet neighbourhood a great place to relax.

Very comfortable home that’s in walking distance to the river and restaurants. Loved that each room had its own bathroom!

Planned a trip to the area for my birthday with a few friends and we had a wonderful time! We all enjoyed the house - it was a perfect home base between our outings. The natural lighting was beautiful and the 3 bathrooms were a bonus. Would definitely recommend a stay here - just be aware of the stairs and steep driveway!

Beautiful house perfect set up with three bedrooms three baths. Beautiful view with a high ceilings and lots of windows in the living room. The amenities were perfect.
