Your Mountain Stay
You’ll be staying at 7,550 feet, surrounded by sweeping mountain scenery.
Inside the home:

• Two bedrooms
o One with a California King
o One with two twin beds

• A fully stocked kitchen with everything you need for cooking and dining

• A fireplace in the living room, perfect for cozy evenings after a day outdoors

• A spacious deck overlooking Mt. Audubon, Thunderbolt Peak, St. VrainMountain, and Meadow Mountain

If you hike up the mountain behind the house, you’ll reach viewpoints of Long’s Peak, Mount Meeker, and several other iconic summits.

Community & Outdoor Amenities
The community spans 600 acres of beautiful mountain land you’re free to explore, including six stocked lakes within walking distance.

Fishing
• No Colorado fishing license required
• A community badge is required — I’ll provide one
• Fishing poles available upon request

Wildlife
Sightings are common (though never guaranteed). Guests and our cameras have spotted bears, moose, elk, bobcats, bighorn sheep, turkeys, bald eagles, and even a mountain lion near the home.

Recreation
• Tennis and pickleball courts

• Horseshoe pit

Pool
The community pool typically operates from Memorial Day through Labor Day, though dates may vary slightly.

Extended Stays
If you’re considering a longer mountain getaway, 1–3 month fall and winter rentals are available.

Winter Travel Notes
Winter stays are cozy, peaceful, and a wonderful way to experience the mountains.

After a day outdoors, the fireplace offers warmth and charm, making the cabin feel like a true retreat.

Snow in this area usually melts quickly, but during active storms, travel can be more challenging. For the safest experience, 4WD or AWD is recommended. Roads are plowed once about 4 inches of snow have accumulated, but the driveway and cabin stairs are not regularly cleared.

Shovels are available at the base of the stairs if needed.

Guest access
Guests have access to the second floor/main level of the house. The first floor is for storage and utilities.

Neighborhood is roughly:

-30 minutes east of Estes Park another; 10 minutes gets you to Rocky Mountain National Park.

-35 minutes west of Longmont, CO

-50 minutes northwest of Boulder, CO

-1 hour 20 minutes away from Denver International Airport
