The view was beautiful and the property was relaxing. It was a a great break from a busy life and the kids enjoyed .

The property was lovely, peaceful & clean. The views of the lake were spectacular. Enjoyed the serenity offered by quiet beautiful surroundings. I've stayed in many 4-5 star hotels, B&Bs & cabins. This was by far the cleanest place I've stayed. Even the grill was clean & this is rare to find. The bed was comfortable. Food is the only thing you need for the kitchen; all the utensils, plates, foil plus too numerous to mention items were already stocked. The owners of the house were extremely nice & helpful. I would refer my friends & family to this property.

Exceeded expectations and had everything we needed.

There were stores nearby that provided anything you needed. We came prepared so we did not need much. The AC worked well, we still used the fan in the bedroom though.

Always a pleasure to stay at this beautiful location in Canyon Lake. The hosts are friendly and responsive and the house is always so cozy, clean, and inviting. We have stayed here numerous times and are already looking forward to our next trip. My daughter enjoys feeding the deer that come onto the property and we love relaxing in the hot tub as a family. I cannot say enough good things about this home! Definitely recommend!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! It was the perfect layout for our family of 5 and the views from the house are amazing! Our kids (ages 4-7) thanked us repeatedly during our trip for bringing them to such a cool and fun house! We enjoyed sitting on the back deck, feeding the deer, soaking in the hot tub, and exploring down by the lake. Paul and Shirley were great hosts and were always easy to communicate with and quick to respond. You can tell they have put a lot of time and thought into making sure their guests have a fantastic experience!

This lake house looks new on the inside, wonderfully remodeled and perfect for 2 couples or small family. Great views of Canyon Lake. Owners were great to work with.

House is beautiful and so clean. We loved all the deer that are around the subdivision. I specifically booked this property because of the hot tub which did not disappoint. I highly recommend this house. Definitely be back.

Stayed here for our 20th anniversary and couldn’t have picked a better spot! The house was gorgeous, comfortable, and had everything we needed, including a well stocked kitchen. The views were stunning, and the decks gave us front-row seats to the real stars of the trip—the deer! They were everywhere, and I even got to hand-feed a few, which felt straight out of a fairytale. After a short trip to Wimberly and hike around Jacob's Well, the hot tub was absolute perfection, and ending the night with a fire by the lake (with deer wandering by to check on us) was pure magic. The master bed was cozy, the hosts were quick to respond and super friendly, and overall it was the perfect anniversary getaway. Highly recommend!

This was our third stay at the property and it did not disappoint. The home was cozy and inviting after a long road trip. The hosts have made some significant upgrades that we were surely pleased with. The balcony view of the sunset on the lake is breathtaking. We enjoyed the hot tub, feeding the deer that came on site, and s’mores around the fire pit. Plenty of fun and relaxation for everyone. The hosts are always courteous and prompt to reply. Looking forward to returning to this property soon!

One of the most beautiful lake homes, if you’re even thinking about it based on the pictures please book. You won’t regret staying here, the view is amazing, hot tub, grill and outside deck seating for dinner or breakfast. There is deer every morning, an oasis worth spending money on.

We absolutely loved our stay. The house was so cute and the views from the deck were breathtaking. We also enjoyed the hot tub quite a bit as we ran our first 5k down in Gruene and were pretty sore. Also, I think we enjoyed feeding all of the deer the most. We will definitely book this home again when we don't travel with our pups.

Loved the cabin! Easy to get to and has covered parking. Quiet, cozy, and just the right amount of seclusion. Amazing deck that was great to hang out on. Hosts were fantastic. Very communicative and helpful! Lots of amazing breweries, restaurants, dive bars, holes in the wall, and coffee shops in the area. Multiple nearby trails for hiking… and a great lake! Easy to get around the area and minimal traffic on the weekend we were there. This will definitely be our first choice on any return visits to the area!

This was an amazing place for my wife and I to celebrate our 1 year anniversary. Communication was excellent. Very clean, well put together, and organized (everything was labeled with simple instructions). We appreciated how welcome you made us feel. Loved waking up with some coffee and sitting on the porch enjoying the calmness, or ringing the bell as we watched the sun set on another fun filled day. We loved topping that off with a relaxing soak in the hot tub. There were many exciting activities to do and places to visit. The lake levels were a little low but we were still able to reserve a boat for a fun afternoon on the lake. We also enjoyed the daily visits from the furry locals. We had fun feeding the deer and were even able to feed some either by hand, or with the scoop. We even caught a quick glimpse of the gray fox one night. Thank you for the use of your beautiful home. I’d say the entire trip was a success and we will definitely be coming back, and hopefully soon!

Relaxing lakeside stay. Enjoyed beautiful sunsets while feeding the amazingly friendly deer. Visited nearby Gruene for a day of great food and drink.

We really enjoyed our stay. Plenty of extra linens, blankets, towels, etc. Kitchen was fully stocked with things like cutlery, dishes, serving ware & appliances. It was nice having the deer corn available to feed the neighborhood deer that come by each evening. Unfortunately, the lake is low right now, but we were still able to make our way down to the water & float around a bit. The hot tub was a nice way to end the night. It is sparkling clean & the cover is so easy to open & close. Thanks!

We thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the deck and watching boaters on the lake and especially enjoyed the deer in the yard. Deer corn was provided as a treat for the deer! The owner’s have provided every amenity you might need. We loved watching the hummingbirds too. You will be able to relax and you won’t want to leave!

We had an amazing time at this property. Loved feeding the deer, relaxing in the hot tub after 2 fun-filled nights of concerts at Whitewater Amphitheatre. We will definitely book here again.

This was a great place to get away from the hustle and bustle of Houston. Great place to get away and just recharge your mind and your body.

We had an amazing trip. The lake level was low but even with that, the patio provided great views. We would definitely come back and stay this house again.

We had so much fun and sunsets over the lake are absolutely beautiful. Our children aged 2-13 had a blast swimming in the lake and feeding the deer. We spent the majority of our time on the patio enjoying the sights. Would love to come back in the future
