Stayed Feb 8, 2026The home had a extreme smell of animal urine and visible stains on carpet. I notified host with photos. The back stairs and railing on patio are in dangerous condition. That should be addressed. I would like to bring my parents and kids back bc the location and lake is amazing but the place is not “vacation friendly” as it is today. No broom, no mop, accessible, very dark - lighting is minimal.

Stayed Jan 30, 2026We could not get the fireplace to light up. I was like an exterminator all weekend my girls were not happy with all the webs and spiders in the house. One last thing the bed was like sleeping on a board. The views are awesome though.

Stayed Jul 21, 2025Absolutely loved this property…very comfortable, the deck with lake view was where we spent the whole week. So nice. Kitchen well appointed, dishes, glassware, cups.. plenty of cookware options. Would definitely be back! Nite, the slope to the Jake is a bit tricky, but doable.

Stayed Jul 21, 2025From the time we arrived we were completely relaxed. The home was better than the pictures…we never wanted to leave the deck! Kitchen was well set up, nice glassware, dishes… appliances are typical lake cabin… all fully functional. The slope to the lake is a bit tricky but doable. Our dog had no issues. Nice shower products. Several fans if warmer weather. Well furnished.. comfortable. Already looking to book again.

Stayed Oct 4, 2024We enjoyed our stay at Whispering Pines and loved that we were able to bring our dogs. Beds were comfy and we had everything we needed for a long weekend away from the heat in PHX.
