Our third time here in Rochester. Everything was beautiful.
We loved our time in the beautiful, well-appointment modern farmhouse. Fabulous layout and gorgeous views!
House was beautiful and surrounded by a picture perfect Vermont landscape.
Quintessential Vermont luxury. Everything good said about this property in the reviews is accurate. Host clearly takes pride in his property.
Idyllic mountain setting in exceptional contemporary home with all amenities to make your stay flawless. Thank you for a wonderful visit again.
A diamond 5 star stay. Residence is appointed to a high level and the kitchen gourmet better than we have enjoyed with many flats in Paris. Lovely great room, grand views, a wonderful place to reside. A flawless time in every respect. The managers of the property were quick to respond to any questions regarding the property and accommodated some last minute requests warmly. Thank you for the perfect experience.
Second time, always great.
This is the second time this season we had rented this place for over a week and it didn't disappoint. We love this place. We hope to be back next year!
This place was perfect for us and our adult children! It has an amazing view and is surrounded in peacefulness. The large open common area set up allowed for puzzle making and movie watching at its best. The bedrooms each with their own bathrooms were private and comfortable. It was ideally located between Killington and Sugarbush, two of our favorite ski mountains. We already have another week booked later this season!
We had a great family long weekend at the property. The house is beautiful and has several great seating/gathering areas. In addition, the bedrooms and bathrooms are nicely appointed. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking pans and we easily cooked a couple dinners at the property. The location is great, about a 40 min drive to Sugarbush where we skied several days and just a ~5 min drive to a couple great local restaurants and stores. Finally the host was very communicative , which is always a plus.
Have been going to Jay's house for several years now, and it never disappoints. Its location is peaceful and picturesque, and a great base from which to venture out into the villages of VT. The house is always clean and tidy, well stocked, and comfortable from the moment of arrival. We can't imagine visiting VT in any other way now!
Lovely and comfortable home in an idyllic Vermont farmland setting.
Gorgeous views, peaceful location and comfortable accommodations. This was a great get away for our family of four. The property offered an excellent place for our dog and rambunctious five year old to run around. The beds were comfy, kitchen and living areas were perfect. We had such a relaxing time we extended our stay an extra night which Jay easily accommodated. We hope to be back to stay in the fall!!
House design, interior and location are just what is needed to get away from city life. Views of mountains during the day and spectacular amount of stars at night. All of us would not hesitate to return.
We stayed for 1 week in July. The home is situated beautifully to take in the gorgeous Vermont views as well as the flora and fauna in the field in front of the home. This is a beautiful home, clean and well appointed. There were a few things that were damaged (by a previous guest) upon our arrival (2 screens leading to the outside, a stripped faucet turn), but Jay was very responsive to messaging and the property manager came and took a look- fixing the faucet, and made plans to fix the screens after our departure. We did not receive the information about check in ahead of time, so that was a bit confusing, but appeared to be simply an accident and not the usual practice for this home. The information provided was thorough and helpful, and there was a printed copy in a binder at the home that we were able to use as a reference. The kitchen was great to use, although others who stay here should be aware that the refrigerator sounds an alarm if not closed properly (one of our party was confused and thought the smoke alarm was going off). I would give this house my highest recommendation, beautiful and quiet setting, lovely home, and nice amenities (see steam shower!).
Absolutely stunning property. Would not have changed a thing about our stay. The views, the fields, the outdoor dining, the light, the air, the steam shower, the local hikes. Gorgeous. Thanks Jay! We will be back!!
Beautiful house in a beautiful spot!
We loved our stay. Jay’s home is beautifully designed, the scenery is spectacular, we loved Sandy’s and the welcoming community of Rochester.
