Modern, Dog-Friendly Cabin w/ Enclosed Yard, Patio, Grill, Shuffleboard + WiFi

The house was great for my large family! Enough space for everyone, and so easy and convenient to ski rentals and the mountain! And my dogs all enjoyed coming in this trip too with a great yard for them to run in!

We love the house as this is our 4th year in a row staying there. My mother-in law loved the well supplied kitchen.

The kitchen was amazing!!! There was everything and anything you would need to prepare a meal at home. Some items had been around a while and needed a second cleaning but everything was functional.Loved the Vacasa cleaning box!! I wish all our rentals provided that!We only used 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom and they were both very comfortable and clean.The yard was fully fenced which we appreciate!!This home worked wonderfully for my family and our first snowboarding trip with our child. We would love to come back late spring.

This is a great house for 6+ guests as it offers 3 bedrooms and 2 bunk beds in the playroom, 4 bathrooms, a large kitchen and living room. The short fenced yard is adequate for smaller dogs. There are 2 fire pit locations with chairs and a great view of Sugar Mountain. It is centrally located to sports outfitters, Banner Elk, hiking trails/waterfalls, and near the larger city of Boone. It has mostly adequate older furnishings and minimal convenience supplies such as paper towels, toilet tissue, kitchen cleaning rags/towels, and bath towels. It could also benefit from better maintenance of the mini-split heat/air filters. We weren't sure if the musty/mold odor was from the filters or other location in the house.

We traveled to Banner Elk for a wedding at Grandfather Country Club and loved how close this property was to the wedding festivities and to Banner Elk/Linville! We comfortably fit all 10 of our party in the house and loved the poker table/card table in the bunk room and the hot tub. Unfortunately, one of the double bed bunks was being held up by a few bricks which required one person to sleep on a mattress on the floor, but other than that we really enjoyed our stay!

This home was spacious and had all amenities needed for a vacation stay. Great for pets. Lovely hot tub. Perfect for two families. Three nice bedrooms and one large game room/bedroom for 6 kids to sleep.

The layout of the house is unique. It’s essentially two houses in one. The good stuff: * The showers were great (and handicap accessible)! * Loved the bumper pool table and shuffle board! We played many games. * Also loved the location. Could walk to wilderness run mtn coaster and puerto Nuevo restaurant (very good). Although road is very busy. The so-so stuff, mostly minor and we tried not to let them impact our fun: * It has a hottub but we were told it was unavailable during our stay. The maintenance person came during our stay and said we could use it, but we didn’t. Also, we were not notified maintenance would be coming and were quite surprised to see someone in the back yard! * The yard is a nice perk but the fence height is not tall enough if your dog is a jumper. Our dog did not want to relieve herself in the yard because it smelled like other animals. there isn’t a lot of green space close by to walk a dog. Gravel. Lots of gravel. * It was a good thing we were a family of 4 only as one of the bottom bunk beds was not usable - it had jenga blocks supporting a bend in the frame. * My husband had to deep clean the washer as it looked like had never been done. * One of the bedrooms was very hot with no A/C. We gave that one to one of our sons. * No chalk for pool sticks. We ended up checking out a day earlier than expected as we wanted to get back to the comforts of home.

The home was immaculate. Amenities were excellent and the location was central to dining, entertainment and local attractions
