This place was a great getaway for my husband and me for a beautiful weekend in the Black Hills! Kari communicated well and we had everything we needed. Will definitely be back!

Our stay was pleasant. Host was easy and prompt to communicate with. It was very remote and peaceful the entire time.

We had a great time staying at this Black Hills property! It is clearly an older house but it is kept up well with plenty of kitchen gear, gas grill, towels and camping chairs.We even got to briefly meet the owners when we arrived.Just be aware that the location - like most places in the Black Hills - will require a bit of driving depending on what attractions you are interested in. Same for shopping, so plan to grocery shop before you arrive!

The cabin needs attention concerning the door lock, the grill, shower draining, and over-all cleanliness.

Everything was clean and ready for us! It was a great place to stay.

Wonderful get away and place to explore the Black Hills/Badlands/Mount Rushmore/Crazy Horse!

Great home out of town in a beautiful and peaceful area. We were driving distance from all of the SD attractions we wanted to see on our vacation. We would stay there again.

Only thing I would say was a negative was the keypad to enter the cabin didn't work. They did leave a spare key for this issue though. So that was nice.

A fantastic cabin up in the hills away from busy streets! A fantastic deck to wake up and drink coffee on before starting the day!

We stayed at this cabin in the Black Hills to celebrate our son’s graduation from Purdue, and it was the perfect getaway for our family of four (two adults and our two adult sons). The cabin was stocked with everything we needed, and the owner, Kari, was incredibly responsive and helpful with any questions we had.The setting is peaceful with quiet neighbors and absolutely beautiful scenery—just what we were hoping for. The road leading up to the cabin is about four miles of dirt and gravel. It wasn’t a problem for us since we had a 4-wheel drive, but it could be more challenging for 2-wheel drive vehicles or motorcycles.Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely rent this cabin again!

The house was well off the beaten path. Homey feeling and well stocked. We enjoyed our stay.

The property was quiet and relaxing if you want to get away from the city life. It had everything we needed including good internet. It is also close to Pactola Reservoir and OHV trails. we enjoyed our stay there very much.

This home was the perfect size for two adults and two kids, and it made us feel like we were staying with relatives in the best way. It was super cozy and quiet, and it had everything we needed. It’s fairly remote, but it was perfect for access to UTV trails and we had no trouble finding it. The highway closure on 385 was a little inconvenient but not such a huge deal. We’d stay again for sure!

Cabin was clean, fully equipped with everything that we needed and in a beautiful and quiet area. Came with the family and we all enjoyed our stay. As with everywhere in the Black Hills it is a bit of drive to all the attractions but we were expecting that ... got visits from cows every morning, haha.

We enjoyed this cabin. It was very conveniently located between the things we wanted to do during our stay. The area around the cabin was quiet and peaceful, which is exactly what we were looking for. The locks on the doors are not real easy to lock, especially the upper level sliding glass doors which don'treallylock at all. The main door was not the most convenient and is not a deadbolt as indicated in description. Other thing I wasn't thrilled with was decor and items around with christian god references. There are many different religions in this country and rest of world and felt that was inappropriate decor to have in a vrbo listing.

Getting away from chaos and enjoying the stars at night and peace and quiet! Great place to relax and kick back. Wonder hosts, attentive and responsive.

This cabin was perfect for our vacation and the host were absolutely great to work with. The property was just as represented and clean. We will rent again when we return. You can't go wrong with this location and hosts. Shirley

Cabin is quiet and peaceful

We had a wonderful time in this mountain home. Perfect being out of the bustle of the city.

We had a wonderful vacation and the house was a perfect place to rest and relax before and after our busy outings!

Perfect place, centrally located to all of our activities. Beds were nice, the couch and loveseat should be replaced if it were up to me , us fat guys had a heck of a time getting out of them :) floors were pretty squeaky for the sleeping in parties downstairs but it was time to get up anyway right. Thank you for a lovely weekend

Beautiful area to stay in with plenty of attractions to visit. The house was very nice and in a quiet area. Would highly recommend
