Stayed Jun 2, 2025Safe, quiet area. 10 minute walk to town to restaurants and shopping. Beautiful property, clean and has all amenities needed for a long stay. Excellent communication and responses from owner. Highly recommend!!

Stayed Jul 21, 2025What a wonderful place to stay in Co. Galway! The house was immaculate and more than comfortable for our family's stay. Parking is on site and the open plan was bright, big, and welcoming. The beds and linens comfortable and clean. The en suite bathrooms were new and showers luxurious. The kitchen was stocked with cooking supplies making breakfast and supper an easy option before and after a day on the go!Communication was easy and very responsive with the owner! Check-in was simple. We knew if we had a problem or question, Lynn would be there! But we had no problems!The location was perfect in Clifden. It is just a short (5 min), scenic walk into the town for lovely restaurants, a bakery, a large Super Valu grocery and shopping. It was nice to have those conveniences close, but we had calm and quiet at the house. The location was also convenient to exploring the Wild Atlantic Way (the Sky Road!!), Omey Island, Connemara National Park, Kylemore Abbey, Killary Fjord (mussels!), beautiful beaches, and much more! We highly recommend the Bear House in Clifden. We would stay again without hesitation! Thank you, Lynn!
