M&M Beach Oasis - Oceanfront! High-end Ranch -2nd home #4993888

We have rented homes in many beach towns, some large and fancy, others smaller and homier. I have to say that this home was one of the most thoughtfully equipped home we have stayed in. From the physical layout, to the furnishings and especially all the special extras. The kitchen, while not huge, was perfect. Every appliance you could hope for, well-stocked with silverware, plates, bowls, cups, glasses (Love that they were plastic glasses!). And lots of open storage shelves in the pantry for our groceries. I hate having to leave everything on the counters. A working ice maker and water dispenser. I could go on and on! And the location- well- just perfect. When on the deck you feel like you are on the beach. Merrijo Jo checked in with us and was very responsive when I sent questions. We can't wait to return next spring!

Beautiful, clean home. Comfortable beds. Wonderful views from the deck. Restaurants and shopping nearby. We had a nice relaxing time and truly didn’t want to leave. Will definitely stay here again.

This house is wonderful! Tons of beach supplies, loved all the seating on the ocean front deck and kitchen was stocked with everything. I did have a few instances of the WiFi not working well, but it’s vacation I wasn’t online much. :) I would book this property again!

This place rejuvenated my soul!! Everything was as pictured or better. You should not hesitate to rent this place. The best part of the home is, of course, the deck. It feels like you are on the beach without leaving the deck. Great deck furniture. There is a public beach access right next door but we had zero problems. There is no parking lot at the public access so I don't think it would be a problem even in summer. The house was very, very, very clean. The kitchen was fully stocked. Plenty of puzzles and games. This is a great place with a great host. The only things we would like to see improved are: (1) you have to bring your own sheets and towels (this is clearly marked in the description so it was not a surprise). Yes, you can easily rent them, but renting sheets is not consistent for a nice house like this. On the positive side, you can be assured the sheets are changed! (2) at the bottom of the stairs entering the front door there are two posts in front of the stairs. This is a tripping hazard (as my wife discovered the hard way). The posts need to be elevated or at least have bright lights on them. (3) because some guests do not use the fan when showering, the bathroom doors stick slightly. Please make sure to use the fans! I am sure Merri Jo will get this fixed.We were lucky enough to see a rocket launch from the deck!!!! Check the Cape Canaveral launch schedule while you are there and maybe you will see one, too!We loved Surf City and the M&M Beach Oasis!

The house was perfect for our extended family - five adults and two children. It was clean and well-appointed, and the deck was amazing. Everyone had a great weekend.

The host of this property has provided everything anyone would ever want or need in a vacation rental property. Property manager made sure our stay was perfect.

We had a wonderful and relaxing stay at M&M. The house had everything we needed for a week away from the hustle and bustle. We especially enjoyed sitting on the porch and being just steps from the ocean—it was beautiful, and we even spotted dolphins a couple of times! The home was clean, comfortable, and very well organized. The kitchen was especially well stocked, which made it easy to cook our meals together. Overall, it was a great spot for a peaceful beach getaway, and we would gladly recommend it.

The beach house was perfect for our stay. The house owner had clearly set the house up for guests to enjoy their stay with no worries. We saw several details that were above and beyond my expectations and previous experiences with vacation rentals. I highly recommend the M&M Beach Oasis for your family's trip to Topsail Island.

This house, set right on the ocean, was the perfect spot for a relaxing vacation with family. Merrijo and Alice were very responsive to our needs. I couldn’t ask for a better place or hosts.

Mini friend’s reunion! The house is perfect in every way. The kitchen is well stocked, beds are very comfortable, cleanliness is superb. Highly recommend and will be booking again.

This was by far one of the best houses we have rented. Even though the weather was chilly we were able to sit on the deck and enjoy watching the dolphins riding the waves. Very clean! Looking out to the ocean from the two LR windows was fantastic. The owner Merrijo was great to work with too!

Oh my goodness for someone who wants to be at the water’s edge this house is it! As our visit was in December it was cold outside, but we bundled up and enjoyed every space on the incredible deck. When we needed warm and cozy inside, the views were still marvelous through the huge picture windows. Even though many meals were eaten out the kitchen was very nice for making those that we did make. Also really enjoyed the way the bedrooms are removed from the living areas so that varying go to bed and get up times weren’t disturbing. Great beach house!!

View was gorgeous. The only thing that was a little challenging was a small area for dogs to use the potty and the house number was hard to see especially when arriving late at night. All around we enjoy the house.

Feels like home. Everything you need if you get in. My guest loved the makeup mirrors. Well maintained property and professional cleaning. Can't beat the view and sitting for all.

The home was perfect and the weather was awesome for November. We definitely want to come stay again!!
