Klamath, California
Clean and quite minutes from the beach, The Redwoods and Trees of Mystery.
Beautifully remodeled home filled with everything needed for a great vacation.
Play board games, go for a walk on. The beach, hike in the redwoods.
This house was larger, cleaner, more well stocked, and more modern than the photos and description indicated. The beds were luxurious. The pantry supplies were plentiful. Its old neighborhood location was quiet and situated midway from north to south in the Redwood parks. Two minor complaints: we needed butter knives, and there was no instruction about check out. Were we supposed to take out trash? Should we gather towels and sheets in the laundry room? Etc.
The house was beautiful. Clean, quiet neighborhood. The kitchen had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable.
Due to lost of power, the host moved us to a bigger house. It has farm and country style settings which we like. The amenities are excellent.
Property worked great for our family of 6. Conveniently close to Redwood National Park. House was very well kept. Neighborhood seemed a little questionable with some of the homes having a lot of junk outside.
This place is amazing! It was so peaceful and quiet and surrounded with greenery. We stayed in the master suite and the bed was very comfortable. The place is much larger than we expected. There is abundant natural light from the windows and the skylights in the master bath and kitchen. The laundry room is large and the kitchen was well-equipped. The front porch is inviting with a table and chairs plus a bench. We enjoyed wine and snacks on the porch as we listened to and watched the birds. We hope to be back one day.
We stayed here two nights over 4th of July Holiday. House was easy to access from the highway and close to the things we wanted to do. Would stay again!
House itself is large. Location was ideal for us driving down and wanting to stop in the Red woods. If you are looking for lots of shops and restaurants Crescent City is about 25 minutes away. Thankfully they have good Wifi because we didnt get the best service so being able to connect to Wifi was great. Could use some dusting for sure lots of cob webs. It has the bare necessities so I think they should add at least a microwave. More seasonings then just salt and pepper. Things like that... the neighborhood was nice.
The photos do not do this property justice. It was spacious, clean, contemporary, and nicely decorated. It has great views of the the forested hills from the backyard. It is a great jumping off point to the redwoods and only minutes away from the Trees of Mystery. Don't be put off by the few houses that look abandoned as you first turn off the road. The rest of the neighbor bood is a collection of well kept homes. Buy your groceries on the way into this area because the closest major grocery store is about 30 minutes away.
We absolutely loved staying here! It was extremely clean, the kitchen was well stocked with all necessary amenities for cooking, bedrooms were well appointed with crisp, white linens, and plenty of extra blankets. It was spacious, well lit, with all the necessary essentials plus thoughtful touches. The pictures do not do this property justice- it is a very lovely home. The host was communicative and easy to get a hold of. I would love to visit here again. Just minutes from the redwoods national park, plenty of hiking, and beautiful beach views.
Was much bigger than we anticipated, very clean, and came stocked with many necessities. Less than 5 minutes from gas, the general store, trees of mystery, and the forest cafe. There isn't much out there so the location was wonderful. Beautiful view from the back porch. Highly recommend it if visiting the redwoods
This house isn't fancy, but it's quite comfortable and the location is perfect for visiting the redwoods! We loved being in Klamath - so peaceful and right in the middle of all the parks!
