Stayed Sep 26, 2025House is close to Capitol Reef. House is well stocked in the kitchen and the beds are comfortable. Bathrooms are nice, downstairs shower is huge. The Mountain View’s are nice especially at sunrise. Outside is kind of bleak; dirt, rodent traps, sand bags and tumbleweed. You enter through the tv park. The town is a short distance with good restaurants. The Rock Reef Cafe has good sandwiches and pizza.

Stayed May 23, 2025Semi-secluded. Quiet. Amazing views. Plenty of room. Things I did not like was the dirt road through a glampground and a steep dirt hill to get to the driveway. Yards were ugly and unkept. Those were my only two dislikes. Overall the property was great for our needs.

Stayed Oct 19, 2022We had a lovely stay here. The home was very comfortable and the scenery was amazing. We loved stargazing at night with the dark skies and visiting Capitol Reef and Boulder. Such a beautiful area. We would stay here again.

Stayed Oct 29, 2025The house was perfect for our trip to the National Park. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had what we needed. It was remote, yet not hard to get to. Just a note- grocery facilities are sparse for this area- be prepared. There was not an outside patio set-up, as indicated in the pictures, but we were too tired from hiking to have need of. Also, the garage was not available for use and it looked like it would have been in the photos.

Stayed Sep 24, 2025We only stayed one night and it was a perfect location for Capitol Reef and the town of Torrey. Definitely family friendly. We were surprised we had to go through a campground to access the property, but it was fine.

Stayed Sep 7, 2025Great location, very private. Overlooks fields of alfalfa, buttes and mountains in the million dollar view. We had no problems at all driving up the unpaved part of the driveway. Large rooms. Great views. Kitchen was a little tired in places. It lacked sharp knives, which is typical for rentals almost everywhere. Could not watch TV as there was a missing remote. Called host. She couldn’t do much about the missing repost. We tried watching through Roku but it kept asking for some PIN number. Other than that, we can highly recommend renting the house. You wont be disappointed.

Stayed Jun 12, 2025The space and the furniture are of good quality, but we most enjoyed staying here because of the gorgeous views and convenient location. (The view would have been even better if the garbage pails could have been stashed somewhere less conspicuous.) Communication with the owner was efficient and she was very responsive to our questions. The beds are all soft memory foam -- and it should be noted that there are short flights of stairs to the three bedrooms upstairs and the one bedroom downstairs... so folks with mobility issues should be aware. We wished that there was a grill brush to clean the large propane grill more conveniently. Overall, we had a great stay.

Stayed Mar 22, 2025This house was perfect for our visit to Capital Reef. Lovely home inside and out but the best part was the views, especially sunrise and sunset. It takes about 20 minutes to drive to Park headquarters which is quite reasonable. We didn’t have much communication with our host because little was needed.

Stayed Apr 1, 2025We loved our stay at the hilltop home. The shared spaces and bedrooms were all big enough for my big family. Lots of rentals prioritize bedroom space, but have very little kitchen and living room space. This home has adequate space for everyone to eat together and relax together after a long day of hiking, which we loved. My kids really loved seeing the bunnies and bluebirds in the yard. A couple of small imperfections: the downstairs master bedroom door doesn't close all the way. And there are no fans in the bathrooms. These things didn’t bother us much, as the rest of the home was so comfy. And the views from the home are spectacular.

Stayed Oct 16, 2024Great location to explore Capital Reef area. Beautiful views of the red rock cliffs from the front picture window and Boulder mountain from the rear slider. The house is a little hard to find because there is a new RV park along the road that becomes the driveway. Just drive through the RV park and up the hill. Very quiet and private location. The house is well stocked with everything you might need for a vacation base. Good Wifi too. We would absolutely stay again when in the area.

Stayed Sep 25, 2024Great clean home with very comfy beds. There’s an expanding RV park at the edge of the property. There was a mobile home person at the RV park that had loud music every night till about 10:30 which broke the wonderful peaceful solitude of the home.
