Million Dollar View Cabin By New River Gorge Park

I will never stay here again. Owner does not list your property is being actively recorded and there is a bunch of hidden cameras across from the cabin number 1 in a tree that are very well disguised. EVERY site is recorded 24/7 definitely violating laws.

The cabin was very clean and cozy! Amazing Mountain View! Especially at sunrise!

Beautiful cabin, everything looks very new, high end appliances. Beds were super comfy! View from the front deck and living area can’t be beat, beautiful sunrises and we even saw a full double rainbow from the deck. Would absolutely stay here again!!

Our stay was more that we hoped for! Anthony was always quick to respond and extremely helpful. The house was MUCH bigger than expected. Very comfortable furniture and beds and all the amenities and more. We can't wait to come back again to enjoy the outdoor space.

Wow. What a clean, peaceful, breath-taking property. Truly a GEM. My husband and I and our teenage son stayed for 5 nights in the summer, and we're convinced this is got to be one of the best places around to stay. One thing to mention is that the incredible view is also in sight from the loft bedroom, which means you get to wake up to it as well. INCREDIBLE! Owner was great with quick communication with a couple questions we had, and the property is very well maintained and very clean. It is very quiet and peaceful, and our family found it to be a restful place. Even our teenage son was surprised at how much he loved it. Honestly a really wonderful place to stay. Lord-willing, we will be back!

We were all so thrilled with this beautiful place with these gorgeous views. Although we were here for a wedding, several of us stayed behind to work and linger with coffee in front the windows to see the gorgeous views! It could not have been better and we hated to leave! Was so close to the Glade Creek Farm wedding venue!!!

We loved our stay at this special property. Beautiful views from the wrap around porch and picture windows in the living room. Cabin was new and well appointed. Comfy beds and bedding. Nice soft towels. We had high winds and snow and we were snug all night long. Steep ladder-type stairs up to the loft if you have mobility issues. Our dog couldn’t figure out how to go back down so we carried her. Nice views from the upstairs loft king bed as well.

Very clean, beautiful views

This was almost heaven in West Virginia. We booked this cabin at the top of the mountain because it’s dog friendly and is located less than 10 miles from Winterplace Resort. We left the Vrbo feeling like it was our little spot and have already talked about coming back in the future. The cabin was clean, spacious and well stocked with essentials. The communication and check in process was easy. We were appreciative of the effort put in by the hosts to make This place feel like home for our little family. It was the perfect spot for our winter wonderland getaway. 5/5, would absolutely recommend.

Started each day with a beautiful sunrise and ended with star filled skies. The property is quiet and peaceful. The deck was nice to sip our wine after hiking and exploring the area. We enjoyed our stay at the Mountain Retreat. It was clean and we had everything we needed to be comfortable while away from home.

Recently stayed here for a honeymoon trip and a have a few notes below: - Listing: mostly accurate…only thing I did not find to be super accurate is the “super private” and “secluded” parts of the listing. While the cabin is away from the bustling city and only you have access to your cabin, I didn’t realize the property also has a 2nd cabin feet from this one as well as camping spots. The first night we stayed (a Thursday) it was pretty quiet but Friday night we returned to the cabin to find people parked all over right near us. We didn’t get to use a fire pit as all near our cabin were taken. - Cleanliness: the cabin was very clean and smelled fresh & new upon arrival and is very pretty inside with a very pretty view out the back windows. - Check-in Process: very easy. Having never booked on VRBO before I wasn’t aware of the processes or anything along those lines but it was a very easy process. - Sunrise & Stars: definitely make note to wake up early for the sunrise. Enjoying my morning coffee on the deck watching the sunrise was a highlight of staying here. In the evening the stars were amazing. The first night of our stay I even saw a comet. - Food: plenty to use to cook in this cabin but if looking for food it’s about 30 min away which isn’t terrible at all! Buckley has a ton of food options and the drive is pretty simple. - Beds: super comfy and the pillows were very fluffy. Overall, really enjoyed our stay here and would love to be back in the future!

We absolutely loved everything about this property! It’s beautiful, well done and sits at a very picturesque location. The cabin is done well and organized nicely and the property manager’s /host’s communication was fantastic. Would absolutely return to this property and recommend it to others.
