Million-dollar View & Affordable Too! Kayaks free for use

We stayed here two nights in order to view the solar eclipse. The weather could have been a little more cooperative but the clouds parted often enough that we got a good view from the large backyard, which was a perfect vantage point. The house is spotless and roomy. We took advantage of the well supplied kitchen, BBQ grill and washer/dryer while we were there and ate all of our meals in the screened porch with a view of the river. Our kids and grandkids loved playing in the sand on the beach, swimming in the river and kayaking. It would have been fun to stay longer, but work schedules and a long drive home were limiting factors. Scott was a gracious host and overall we had a wonderful stay!

Everything was perfect. The house was stocked with everything we needed for our stay. House was cool, and the screened in porch was relaxing in the morning and evenings. The private beach area was a hit with everyone, and the kayaks were an added plus. Host checked on us to ensure we had everything. Amazing weekend. Tha k you!

The beach view was great. The beachfront has impressively nice sand and it was so nice to have the sand and the river right out the back door. The two living area PLUS the screened porched gave lots of space. Great view from inside and outside. Well appointed with kitchen and bath supplies.We stayed over New Years and recommend the location even for a winter get away since the views were so nice. Great base for locations to state parks.

This place is in a great spot on the river with lots of sandy beach and a beautiful view. The house is updated and well furnished. The owner was very accommodating and checked in to make sure our stay was perfect

My wife, two children (2 1/2 y.o. and 9 m.o.), and I had a wonderful stay. The property is the perfect location for a family trip with young children. The private beach is easily accessible and the property is very well kept.

Home was well cared for and stocked. Excellent for family from ages seven to over 75. Private beach and lake are top notch!

This place was perfect for our family vacation! The river was easy to access via the private beach and the shallow end was perfect for our 1 year old and his grandparents. We enjoyed our breakfasts on the screened-in patio. The sun room is everything - it was a great spot to enjoy the beautiful views while sipping coffee or reading a book. The kitchen was nicely staffed with dishes/utensils and spices. All in all, it was a very lovely spot for our vacation.

Perfect beach location allowed us to enjoy easy swimming and docking our boat rental. House is well stocked and very comfortable for our family of 5. Thank you!

We have stayed at Scott and Jill's lake house in the past, and we were happy to return. What truly sets this property apart is its location. Unlike the developed and crowded areas elsewhere around the lake, this spot offers a pristine sandy beach and views of untouched nature across the water. The peaceful setting allowed us to disconnect and truly relax, something that's increasingly rare to find. Our kids (8 and 6) spent hours digging in the sand and wading in the water. As parents, we appreciated being able to keep them within line of sight through the large windows while we prepped meals from the kitchen or enjoyed quiet time on the patio. The house itself is charming and thoughtfully organized and equipped with everything we needed.

We loved our time at the lake. The house had more kitchen supplies than most rentals we have stayed in which we appreciated very much when preparing meals. The beach was great. Having the sand toys and kayaks all ready there was extremely helpful. House was clean and well cared for. Scott was always easy to get a hold of and prompt to respond. We will definitely stay again!

Our family had such an amazing time during our stay! Scott was extremely accommodating in meeting our needs. The property, views and wildlife was very enjoyable! Their home was cozy, clean & comfortable. The kitchen was also big enough to prepare our Thanksgiving meal! Our 2 year old loved the beach & the teens had a blast on the kayaks. We would definitely recommend this stay & hope to be back soon!

Perfect “beach” vacation for kids! Bunk room, sand toys, accessible (shallow) water - this is a great spot for kids under 10.

This house was fantastic! The owner was super communicative and friendly. The house was clean and comfy. And the beach entry to the water was beyond amazing!

We spent our annual Girl's Weekend here and everything was above and beyond our expectations. Water with beach access is great, close by and kayaks available if you so choose. Beautiful home! We would definitely recommend you stay and see doe yourself!

Our family loved our stay! The view is beautiful! The beach was perfect for our 16 month old grandson and of course the rest of us too. The river isn’t very deep but definitely deep enough to cool off and enjoy the water. We rented a boat nearby and pulled right up to the beach at the house. Again we loved our stay and the host got back with us quickly if we had any questions. There is an HEB close if you forget something and we saw deer every day. Just a note… The walk back to the house from the beach could be hard for elderly or someone who doesn’t get around good since the walk back is up hill.

This house was perfect for us. Super clean, comfortable, cold AC, well stocked kitchen, etc. Loved the beach. Would definitely return to this part of LBJ and would definitely book this house again. Seemed like a great value.
