The Flying Nun, has flown the coop! We introduce VOYAGE a place to retreat and adore Googie inspired Architecture, designed by Willis Regier and built in 1970. Concrete forms a cozy setting; where anytime, light casts shadows across the plan.
We are restoring this fabulous place, with concrete, original fixtures and unique layout with gadgets and stories of them to share. TruIy, a place to be educated... if you're an artist, architect, or film maker, this could be your place of refuge.
Invite your friends to stay with you - two master suites with two bunk bedrooms sleeping four full size singles in each! Private outdoor patios and views. The game room sleeper suite downstairs has video gaming, a fireplace, a workout place, a game table for cards with a wet bar.
The dining room is perfect for family dining where seating for eight to ten accommodate on the expanded Heywood Wakefield table. Special books are displayed in Voyage for a good read while you stay. Whether you are with us for an Omaha event, or to relax; our gift shop in the dining room is open for you we support local Mid Century dealers and artists. Voyage has been seen on HGTV Zillow Gone Wild June 2024 where you can guess how much work we have had to tribute the Architect Regier and his friends we have met along the way. CHEERS to all of you!

We love the story of this space, we love the privacy the quiet setting and the nicest neighbors you could ask for... so we insist quite hours at 10pm. No Pets. No Large over 20 Parties. Dinner with friends is perfect here.

We are in continuous restoration: Please note most furnishings except beds are original to the period please be considerate of vintage- unique groups that make the space. Contact Voyage for more interest texting 712-574-1751

We had the most fun and loved the mid-century vibe!!! I will look forward to returning next time I visit my aunt. Your restoration of this amazing property is impressive. Even your neighbor is thrilled that someone loved this house enough to bring it back to life. Well done!!

The house was awesome. We loved the vintage vibe and it was perfect for our party - a surprise 60th birthday party. Lots of entertaining space. It was pretty chilly in the house, but the host gave me a heads up and provided space heaters.

Great people and a rich history. Imagine this house being erected and the gasps it’s caused in 1970. Now we all can appreciate its unique beauty, its clean lines, its thoughtful design thanks to Gia and her husbands diligent work to preserve an iconic home. We saw a bald eagle, and 2 incredible majestic stags. What a location.

To say the house is beautiful is an understatement. It feels inviting, bright, and it’s so spacious. We enjoyed every space. The decor is eclectic, fun, stylish, and tasteful. There’s so many nice and charming touches throughout. Had tiny issues, in a way expected from a 50 y/o house, so minor that had no negative impact on our stay overall. Our host, Gia, was very friendly, responsive, flexible, and accommodating. We would love to stay here again and would recommend to anyone!

This house is amazing! It's like walking into Disney's Incredibles' home. The owners are currently restoring this beauty to its original glory, and they are doing fantastic! We loved so much about this space. The furniture, appliances, decor . . . Everything is just as pictured and better. The queen beds are comfortable, there are plenty of towels, blankets, and pillows. The rain showers are amazing. The coffee bar was well stocked with coffee and creamer options, fun mugs, and various machines. The central air did not quite keep up with the 80 temps during our mid-June stay. A few extra portable fans would have been helpful, as there are no ceiling fans. The lights were an adventure to figure out, and the main overhead lights in the bunk bed rooms are both on the same switch in the room to the right. Not a major issue, because there are lamps. Just something to be aware of. There's also no microwave, but the kitchen appliances were functional other than the dishwasher. We didn't mind washing things by hand in the amazing original sink, and Gia provided disposable items as well. Our main regret was not spending more time in the house! We were in and out for a wedding nearby and all agreed we should have booked another day just for the space.Gia was very helpful when we had any questions or issues. She made us feel welcome and cared for. We truly wish them the best as they continue to bring the 70's back to life in Bellevue.

We booked this home because it was the perfect bedroom layout for our two families AND because it didn’t seem like just another boring cookie cutter VRBO. Gia was fantastic to work with throughout our stay and made our arrival feel like we had just travelled back in time. It was fun to marvel at the architecture and the energy the owners have put in to making this property have that authentic vintage feel. It was a perfect stay!

THis is a way cool modern home from the 70s. IT was a time warp and when all the lights and appliances work its gonna be fabulous. A cool gathering space- one of a kind

Booked this place to gather together with adult friends (4 couples) to celebrate a birthday and everyone's good health. The architecture and the authentic 1970's vibe was most defiantly a fun backdrop to our celebrations. With 4 of the 8 of us being architects or designers, it was especially enjoyed! The owners have been working hard at restoring the home and curating pieces and accessories which complement the home's era. The place accommodated our group really well - we enjoyed cooking, dining, playing games, streaming music through their amazing retro speakers, having a fire in the large fireplace, and the charms of the retro organ in the living room! Gia was very thoughtful in setting up the house for us and always good at communication if we had a question about something. Thank you for helping us have an amazing stay!
