Step inside one of the most distinctive homes in our Oxford collection. Located in the beautiful The Lamar community, Mi Casa Su Casa is far from your typical vacation rental. This thoughtfully curated residence is filled with art, books, furnishings, and collected treasures from around the world, creating a home that feels sophisticated, worldly, wonderfully unexpected, and completely original.



From the baby grand piano and dramatic artwork to rich textures, bold pops of color, beautiful lighting, and intimate gathering spaces, there is something interesting to discover around every corner. Yet for all its personality, the home remains incredibly warm and inviting — a place meant to be enjoyed rather than simply admired.



Mi Casa Su Casa features two traditional private bedrooms, each furnished with a queen bed and ensuite bathroom, plus an additional bonus lounge/sleeping space with a queen sleeper sofa and its own private full bathroom.



IMPORTANT SLEEPING SPACE NOTE: The bonus sleeping area is not a traditional third bedroom and does not have a closing door. The room is separated from the adjoining area by a privacy curtain and contains a comfortable queen sleeper sofa. We want our guests to understand the layout clearly before booking so you can determine whether it is the right fit for your group.

The main living area is bright and spacious, with soaring ceilings, an incredible statement light fixture, comfortable seating, a modern fireplace, a grand piano, and an eclectic collection of artwork and furnishings. This isn’t a home designed from a furniture showroom — its character comes from pieces thoughtfully collected over time and from around the world.



Just off the main living area, another intimate lounge offers an entirely different atmosphere. Rich chocolate walls create a cozy backdrop for the vibrant green sofa, layered artwork, books, and distinctive furnishings. It’s a wonderful place to settle in with a book, enjoy conversation, or simply appreciate the home’s remarkable collection.

The bright kitchen provides a beautiful contrast to the home’s more dramatic living spaces and is fully equipped for everything from morning coffee to preparing dinner at home.

Primary Master Suite

Relax in the private primary bedroom featuring a comfortable queen bed, luxe linens, beautiful artwork, and thoughtfully collected furnishings.



The ensuite primary bathroom offers a soaking tub and separate walk-in shower for a spa-like place to unwind after a full Oxford day.



PLEASE NOTE: The primary closet is reserved for owner use and is not accessible to guests. A designated hanging space is provided within the bedroom for guest clothing and belongings.



Queen Guest Suite

The second traditional bedroom features another comfortable queen bed and its own private ensuite bathroom with a shower/tub combination, giving guests privacy and convenience.



Bonus Lounge + Sleeping Space

The home’s additional lounge doubles as a third sleeping area and features an incredibly comfortable queen sleeper sofa along with its own private full bathroom with a shower/tub combination.



Please note again that this space does not have a traditional bedroom door. It is separated by a privacy curtain. We intentionally describe this as a bonus sleeping space rather than a third bedroom so guests know exactly what to expect.



RELAX

One of our favorite features of Mi Casa Su Casa is how many different places there are to simply enjoy being in Oxford.



Start your morning with coffee on the beautiful covered front porch, where seating for two overlooks the neighborhood. Later, retreat to the side patio, also furnished with seating for two, for a quiet place to enjoy the afternoon or evening.



The Lamar’s sidewalks make the neighborhood especially enjoyable for walking or running, while the community swimming pool and pickleball courts add even more ways to spend a beautiful Mississippi day.



WORK

Need to mix a little work with your Oxford getaway Mi Casa Su Casa includes a dedicated workspace and WiFi, making it easy to answer emails, catch up on work, or settle in for a remote workday between your Oxford plans.

-Starter supplies of toiletries, toilet paper, paper towels, dishwasher tabs, laundry tabs, and trash bags. Once the starter supply is depleted, guests are responsible for purchasing additional supplies.

-We are pleased to offer concierge services! Our team can shop for groceries, floral arrangements, and wine/spirits and have your selections waiting at the home before arrival. Additional fees apply.

PET FREE PROPERTY — Per the signed Rental Agreement, any violation of the NO PET policy will result in immediate eviction plus additional cleaning charges. Emotional Support Animals are not required to be allowed by law in vacation rentals.



Our home has an exterior doorbell camera. The camera records video when activated by motion and will remain on during your stay. Guests may not cover, disable, or interfere with the camera.



CANCELLATION POLICY

Please note:

No cancellations are allowed for football games (regular and postseason), concerts, Double Decker, or Ole Miss Graduation.



For all other dates, we have a 60-day cancellation policy.



HOUSE RULES



-Minimum Age: At least one guest over the age of 25 must be present for the entire stay.

-Rental Agreement: A rental agreement will be sent to your email for a quick and easy electronic signature to finalize your reservation.
