Stayed Sep 23, 2025All 3 days, we had a peaceful, quiet time with a great view. There are lots of inviting seating spaces outside all around the house (rain or shine) and very comfortable sitting inside along with a comfy bed. Everywhere clean and tidy. Very nice place to be on the island.

Stayed Sep 18, 2025Very cute and clean property with a fully stocked kitchen. The bed was comfortable, the shower had good pressure and the living room furniture was extremely comfortable. It was nice to have a washer dryer. The evening sunsets were the best part! I would absolutely stay again. Although it is on the south side of the island it does not take long to get to town. Although I had no cell service I was able to work using the wifi that was good enough for me to participate in a 2 hour zoom meeting with no issues. The host was very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. 10/10

Stayed Jul 8, 2025What a lovely place!We had a great time at the McBarron Cottage,It is in a beautiful location, perfect for basing out of for exploring the southend of the island via bike.The cottage is nicely decorated, loved the artwork throughout the home. Furnishings in living room, bedroom and kitchen, all were very comfortable.We enjoyed sitting on back covered porch to eat and birdwatch in the morning and evening. The owner and the property manager were very nice We would definitely like to return here in the future.

Stayed Dec 23, 2023We have stayed in this property several times now. It has all the necessities for living comfortably, plus a lot of fascinating art works! And we love the south end location, which is close to my daughter and her family. It was lovely to be able to spend Christmas with my family. Thank you!
