Maple Lawn Gem-4-bedroom, 30 day plus only stays

This property was misrepresented, not properly cleaned, and followed by a false damage claim. The location is listed as Maple Lawn but is not in Maple Lawn. Bedding was unwashed, furnishings were uncomfortable, and communication from the owner was unusually intrusive. I cannot recommend this rental.FACTUAL REVIEW – TIMELINE OF EVENTSBefore Arrival:• Owner requested copies of our licenses.• Asked multiple times who would be in the house and why we were visiting.• I have rented numerous properties before and have never been asked these questions.Arrival Day:• Property was very basic and did not match expectations based on the listing.• Bedding and sheets had a strong odor and did not appear freshly laundered. I washed them myself.• Couch was extremely firm and uncomfortable.• Only one television in the house.• Trash in the garage was full upon arrival.• Limited or no storage space for guest belongings.Location Issue:• Listing states the property is in Maple Lawn. I previously lived in Maple Lawn — this property is not located there.During Stay:• We used the property respectfully and left it in good condition.• No property damage occurred during our stay.After Departure:• Owner found my young daughter’s belongings. I offered to pay for shipping to have them returned.• Instead, the owner filed a damage claim alleging we broke a cabinet. This is false.Summary:• Misrepresentation of location.• Unclean bedding upon arrival.• Uncomfortable furnishings.

We had an amazing stay. The owner was awesome and receptive to any small issues. Thank you for making our trip comfortable and amazing.

My son was here for a lacrosse tournament. We had enjoyed relaxing at the house - almost like being home- after the games because it was so hot. We did a lot of touring and cooking. I love that there was a grocery store and a Dunkin close by. The kids walked there every night.

This is a lovely townhouse - clean, spacious, and conveniently located. Check in was easy and the host was very responsive. We would absolutely stay here again.

Overall this property was in a great location to where we needed to be, was in a quiet neighborhood and was very clean. The host was very kind, responsive and helpful in all regards. My only advice for future travelers is to bring your own pillows if you prefer a little more support (the pillows provided are clean, but flat/thin). Otherwise - we had a pleasant stay!

The spacious, end unit townhome was perfect for our needs. Located in a quiet neighborhood, close to grocery stores and restaurants.The home was comfortable and very clean.The Host was easy to communicate with and always responded promptly.

Very nice 3 story condo with spacious master bedroom and bath and two other bedrooms with main bath. Spacious modern kitchen with gas stove and dining area. Neighborhood is convenient to highway but quiet. Good gocery stores nearby.

This property has a really nice location for travelers: short walking distance to grocery and a strip mall with restaurants. It was pretty convenient to get into DC and other areas nearby. Communication with the host was great and prompt. We loved staying here!
