Maple Cove Hideaway - Ocean Front Cabin - Close To Langley!

Wow! What a wonderful place to stay for 4 days. It was everything we had hoped for. The views of the water and the Cascades Mountains were spectacular. The downtown was lovely, with several great restaurants. It is the type of home you hope to return to year after year.

I’ve stayed in a lot of VRBO places and this was the absolute best experience I’ve ever had. Not only was the property great and the view breathtaking, the kitchen was the most and best stocked I’ve ever encountered. The only downside was only staying two nights. I’ve already started planning my next trip for a longer stay.

Very peaceful, beautify setting.

The property was situated on a private and quiet side of the island. The cabin was clean, cozy, and comfortable with all the necessary and some extra amenities. The host was easy to communicate with and check in and checkout was super easy too. Beds were clean and comfortable. 5 min from Langley. Wake up early to see the perfect view of the sunrise! Don’t forget to look at the little painting on the side table in the living room with the mountains… it’s the perfect guide to know what you’re looking at outside your window! Highly recommend!!

A wonderful warm and beautiful refuge on the island. Highly recommended! We will visit again for sure. Complete kitchen with coffee ready to brew. You can easily walk to the waterside. Note that sleeping accommodations are upstairs.

This is the third time I’ve been to this property for a getaway. It is a cute house with beautiful water views and close to Langley. The house is comfortable and clean, and frankly perfect for me as a solo traveler.

What a wonderful cabin! The owners put a lot of care into the space and creating a welcoming experience for guests. Cozy and comfortable. It was the perfect basecamp for my time on Whidbey Island.

We had the most wonderful stay. The cabin is beautifully renovated and the water view is simply extraordinary. We even saw a whale spouting! We tried to book another stay, but the dates we had in mind were already booked--looks like others have discovered how wonderful this space is, too. We can't wait to come back.

A sweet welcome note and a bottle of wine awaited us on arrival. The home is lovely and absolutely perfect. The views from the large windows showed us moon risings and sunrises that were amazing. We were there during Super Bowl so got to watch the Seattle folks sending tons of fireworks into the sky!! Easy access to open and close up when leaving.

The home is lovely. It has a gorgeous view and feels private and very relaxing. It is well-appointed and matches the description. We reached out to the host in advance of our stay because of some timing issues that came up, and she was incredibly responsive, kind, and flexible. Highly recommend the cabin and hosts.

The hosts were very welcoming and quick to respond when I had a question. The view is stellar and the place was warm and cozy. Sleep was a little challenging. It was quite bright during the full moon with no curtains upstairs in the loft, and we were wishing we'd brought our own pillows. The wood floors downstairs are beautiful, but quite rustic. If I went back, I'd bring hard-soled slippers.

Welcoming personal touches

The kitchen was very well equipped, altho we did little cooking. We loved the coziness and how comfortable we felt just crashing after the busyness of Christmas time. The beds were comfortable and the view amazing. Even on the foggy days, we enjoyed reading and watching movies. The cabin is a very classy, top quality place. If our schedule works out, we may be back.

This lovely cabin was perfect for our stay. The view out front is peaceful and quintessential PNW - mountains, sound and mist. The kitchen is one of the best stocked for any cooking needs. The fireplace is cozy. The location is close to town and far enough away to be quiet. We walked around the neighborhood which also has gorgeous views and a nice walking loop.

This cottage never dissapoints us after multiple stays. Very clean and comfortable. The kitchen is well-equipped for meal preparation. And the view is mesmerizing!

Maple Cove Hideaway is honestly one of the greatest spots we’ve stayed. What a great space. The cabin is beautiful with an unbeatable view. The space was very clean and well maintained. The kitchen is stocked with all one should need. There were plenty of towels, bedding, and throws. The furniture is comfortable. The attention to details regarding information on how everything works is great. Appliances and entertainment info was appreciated. Check in was smooth and easy. I could go on and on.

This cabin has gorgeous views and is located in a quiet neighborhood. The kitchen is outfitted well with just about everything you would need to fix a gourmet dinner.

It was a comfortable home with beautiful views and lovely amenities. I was welcomed with a handwritten note and a bottle of rose that I forgot to take home with me. The house was in a nice residential area at the end of a road so it was a balance of seclusion and safety. It’s perfect for 1-2 people and close to Langley. Just what I needed for a quiet getaway.

Everything was great, the property is beautiful and I would stay again. The moon reflecting off the bay after dark was amazing and watching the boats go out to fish in the morning was fun too!

Couldnt have been better!

The property is well situated with many windows and lots of light. The views are great. The stairs to the second floor are a bit intimidating when descending to use the bathroom at night. The interior was well appointed with small conveniences i.e., charging station for cell phones and other electronics. We were greeted with a bottle of local wine chilling in the refrigerator. Nice touch.

Our stay to kick off our honeymoon couldn’t have been more perfect! The house was as described and in a beautiful location. We had everything we needed and were extremely comfortable. The weather was gorgeous too. We wish we were staying longer!

This rental is just as beautiful as its pictures! The view from the giant windows and spacious deck outside offers a gorgeous view of the water and the Cascade mountains on a clear day. The inside was impeccably clean and well appointed.

This is a perfect year round relaxing location. The floor to ceiling windows face east and overlook the water. We witness a storm during our stay. The view was spectacular. The neighborhood offers nice walking paths by the water. The cabin itself is both cozy and spacious. The kitchen is amazing.

This is one of my favorite places I've ever stayed. The cabin has all modern convieniences, yet still feels like the cabin. The expansive view of Saratoga Passage gives you whale watching opportunities right from the deck, complete with a spotting scope. Plentiful firewood & kindling for the firepit, toilet paper, and filtered water from the pitcher. Our family would love to stay here again. Highly recommended. Be sure to visit the nearby, cute downtown of Langley while you're here, especially Moonraker Bookstore :)

Spent 3 nights at this rental and it was even better than expected. The owner was very accommodating and we really appreciated their flexibility. The location is perfect for relaxing since the view is amazing form any room in the house. Close to Langley and all the fun places to visit there. Can’t wait to come back to this place.

Everything about this property was fantastic. The most well appointed rental we’ve ever stayed in. We watched bunnies frolic, nesting eagles, birds, chipmunks, and even orcas right from the deck. Absolutely gorgeous view. We couldn’t be happier and can’t wait to go back.

We loved our Feb/March ‘25 stay. The hideaway is modern/updated, cozy, and had everything one wants for a getaway. We loved our time on island because home base was perfect.

Property was as described. The views were amazing. The fireplace is the main source of heat and the thermostat did eventually hit a comfortable temperature but it took several hours. It was 50 degrees when we arrived and I get the sense the windows are not very insulated. The outside temps dropped into the 20s at night. We spent most of the time wrapped in blankets, which were very comfortable.

Stay was fantastic overall. The one downside, hence the four star rating, is that the place was very cold and not fast to warm up, even when fillowing all the owner's instructions. There are no rugs in the place to help with this issue either. Once the place did warm up, we had no issue keeping it warm.

We loved our stay in Langley with our group of 4! The property was beautiful and so clean and cared for. It was cozy and had everything we needed. The view was beautiful, even on a foggy day! Downtown Langley was only about a 6 minute drive with great restaurants and shops. Cynthia included personal touches that made us feel right at home. Would absolutely stay here again!!

This cabin has a beautiful view of the water and neighboring islands. The house is immaculate and the owners have provided everything guests need. Even though neighbors are close, it’s very private and quiet. We visited the towns close by and walked the neighborhood. It was very relaxing and we hope to go back.

Great views, calm retreat with so many thoughtful details. Clear directions, easy check in, welcoming notes, responsive hosts. Cozy blankets, plenty of storage. Appreciated the extra lights up the stairs, charging cords, wall hooks, activities. We didn't even turn on the TV! Wonderful, will stay again.

I came to Whidbey Island to spend a few days working remotely and for peace and quiet to make some life decisions. Being able to look out over the water 24/7 was amazing. This house was my calm in the storm and the quiet and solitude was just what I needed. Thank you. I did venture into Langley a couple of times, which is a lovely community and I enjoyed my interactions there very much.

My wife and I came here for a baby moon. The house was incredible. The view of the Puget from the deck is soul soothing. I could have sat out there all day watching storms rolling in and out of the Sound. Amenities were great. All in all, a wonderful experience.

My boyfriend and I flew in from Dallas and stayed at Cindi and Craig’s cozy cabin for 5 days. It is in the perfect location with the most amazing view! It has a full kitchen with everything you would need - we cooked breakfast and watched the sunset come up by the indoor electric fire place. We had packed days with trying to fit in a full day in Seattle, driving the Cascade Loop, and exploring the history and other towns on the island. The cabin was the perfect location to reach other destinations in a few hours. Cindi and Craig really made it feel like a home away from home, and intentionally thought about everything you may need. We used the binoculars to see Orca’s right from the patio! It was incredible. We will definitely be back soon!

Best vacation ever. The cabin was perfect for two adults. It was clean and cozy with a spectacular view. Beautiful island to explore with a great nest to return to each evening. Loved it and will treasure the memories for a lifetime.

The property was just the right size for 2-4 people! It was clean and has great amenities: great coffee pot, all the cookware one needs to cook all of your meals in and a great guidebook filled w menus if you preferred to eat out. We enjoyed coffee on The deck each morning.

Beautiful location; so quiet with lovely views, but only about 5 minutes from Langley so easy access to things to do and restaurants. Everything was better than I even expected; hope to visit again. Only minor drawback is no laundry, but I would still highly recommend this wonderful place!

We stayed at Maple Cove over a long weekend to attend a wedding on the island. It was the absolute perfect accommodation for my wife and I. Spotlessly clean, incredible views of the sound and mountains through the many windows, great location just a few minutes drive from Langley, high quality appliances and finishes, brilliant deck, cozy living room with gas fire, and very helpful and intuitive instructions for all the amenities and tech. We especially appreciated the thoughtful touches of a chilled bottle of rose in the fridge and ground coffee on arrival. We can't wait to stay here again. Highly recommend!

Stayed with my husband and we really enjoyed the space. Well designed spaces, clean, and very comfortable beds. Loves the views from not only the main level but also while lying on the bed. Cute little bunnies everywhere. My only complaint was the spiders. Most were outside but a couple scurried across the floor and that’s to be expected when staying in a cabin. I’m just not a fan of spiders. lol Check in was easy, location was wonderful (shops, art and AMAZING FOOD right down then street a couple miles). Access to the beach is just down the street as well.
