Manzanita Oregon beach house

This home was beyond beautiful and peaceful. Plenty of room for all 14 of us, great bunk room for the kids, and soooo close to the beach. The owner was also very easy to work with. I definitely plan on coming back.

This home was exactly like the photos, nice and spacious. It is on the beach, which is what we wanted. Enjoyed a fire one evening on the beach while watching the sunset. Nice size bedrooms and baths. Kitchen is well-stocked, the large table was nice to sit around to visit.We would recommend this home to anyone, very well maintained and so nice. We would love to come back sometime soon.

We’ve stayed here several times and it’s always great. The home is immaculate when we arrive. If the weather’s good, you’re right at the beach. If the weather is too Oregon-y, there’s plenty of room to spread out in the home. We look forward to our trip every year.

Incredible location-right on the beach and an easy walk into town. The house is better than advertised with wonderful bedrooms and bathrooms. We didn’t need the bunk beds, but would be perfect for children. Best house we have ever rented and will certainly return. It was easy to reach owner and he responded immediately to several questions about the cable T.V. Fantastic in every respect!

We had 16 family members visiting Manzanita for a Celebration of Life. This house was perfect for our large group: all of us were able to eat at the table together, the ground-level bedrooms were helpful for those who could not climb stairs, the bunk bed room was great for the young adults, and the wifi was strong enough for several people to work at the same time. Everyone agreed this was the best beach house we've stayed in.

We love this property! The house is great, well stocked. The access to the beach makes it so much easier with kids. So nice to not have to load and drive to the beach. We had a wonderful family vacation!

We had a fantastic stay for our yearly ladies retreat. This was 20 years of this annual trip. Surfing, shopping, walking and fires on the beach. This place accommodated all our needs the best. Thank you so much for allowing us to enjoy such a beautiful place!

The layout of the house & yard is great for a group, family with young children. View and access to the beach are perfect! The house was very clean, well maintained and easy to communicate with the property manager.

We have been staying in Manzanita for a week every summer for 30 years. This is the best house we've discovered! It was perfect for our growing family with children and grandchildren alike. We can't say enough positive comments about our wonderful time there.

Great house great location, amazing views

Our 5th year at Big Blue. Great property for a large family like ours. Kids loved running to and from the beach to the back yard. Lots of space in the backyard to play. We will be back again next year.

This was the 3rd year we have stayed at this amazing property. We range in age from 20 - 86 and the house works great for all of us. The location is amazing and offers a wonderful place to gather. We love walking on the beach, playing lawn games, watching sunrises and sunsets and eating all together around the big dining table. Comfortable beds and lots of space for everyone.

We spent a week at Big Blue with two 70 year olds and 2 younger families with kids ranging from 14-4. Everyone had an amazing time. Large yard to play in with a very short walk out back to the beach. Very convenient walk to Manzanita shops and restaurants. Possibly the most well-appointed rental we have stayed in with anything you would need in the kitchen. 10/10!

We loved being just steps from the sandy beach, making it easy to enjoy morning walks and breathtaking sunsets. We have stayed at beach rentals on Memorial Day weekend for the last 18yrs. This home was the best!! Beautiful, clean and it had everything we needed including plenty of space. We had a total of 9 family members, ages from 15 yrs to 74yrs. Everyone had more than enough room. The kitchen and dining room were huge and very well stocked. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. Beds were comfortable, bathrooms were clean and had soap, shampoo and conditioner! The backyard was lovely with room to toss a football or kick around a soccer ball. The beach is just steps away. We built a fire, flew kites and had an amazing weekend. The communication with the host was superb, very responsive and easy to work with. The hosts really thought of everything you might need while staying at their home! Thank you!!

The house was a perfect place for all of us to gather, share meals, relax, watch sunsets, walk on the beach, and explore the Oregon Coast. Certainly hope to re-visit!

You never know what a rental is going to be like and until you actually get there… This one looks really nice online and loved that it had beachfront property. When we arrived there we were even more pleased with the house as it is beautiful on the inside and the outside. The house was perfectly clean and smelled fresh. The linens were fresh and clean, and the kitchen had an abundant supply of pots and pans and utensils to cook! We could not have been more pleased with our stay!

We had a group of 7 ladies, what an amazing location! Beautiful views from all rooms, large deck and patio area, beach access for walking or swimming. Close to amazing hiking. Comfortable and clean, everything you need is on property and in the house. Hosts were responsive and kind and great to work with.

We’ve stayed at this property several times and we’ve loved it every time. It’s right on the ocean but if the weather is not cooperating, the house is plenty big enough to spread out in. Always spotless when we arrive and the owner is always available for any questions or concerns. We hope to stay there many more times.

My son got married I Manzanita on Sept 21st. Many family and friends stayed in this rental. The home was beautiful, and so well appointed! The weather was so beautiful we spent lots of time in the yard on the beach. Pictures dont do it justice!

Our 2nd year at this home and hope to stay again!

Our family of 14 had a great week here (our third). The house works well for all ages; the kids love the yard for games, and when inside the house just flows from dining to kitchen to living room with enough room for all. Every cooking utensil and dish available for large scale meals. This year plenty of hot water with improvement; new grill was nice. We have booked for next year.

The house was very clean and spacious. We had 17 people in our group and it never felt tight. The location right on the beach was great! We had a fabulous time!

Location was spectacular-the home was equipped with everything we needed. Kitchen, bedrooms, living space. A fantastic space. I highly recommend.

I highly recommend this place. Everything was fantastic.

Picturesque uncrowned beach location with plenty of sand to stroll on even at high tide. Quiet neighborhood. Clean/well-maintained modern residence that came with plenty of linens, towels, and a well-stocked kitchen with quality cookware and dishes. We appreciated special touches such as the high/low tide clock, the heated outdoor faucet to rinse off sand, the baby furniture we needed for toddlers, and the general supplies provided throughout the home. Our group ranged in age from 1-87 years old and all were able to move easily throughout the home. One person in our family group of 11 had difficulty getting up/down the sand berm between the home and the beach, but there was an easier public access point just 3 houses away that they were able to use instead. In addition to the beach, there were also multiple trails within a few miles as well as a state park. The homeowner was always respectful and responsive. This was a perfect vacation in a perfect location!

We had a big family get-together. There was plenty of space for everyone. The number of bathrooms is a plus. you can walk right down to the beach easily. If was just perfect for a large group. The house and property is very well kept. Communication with the owner was easy. We plan to stay here again!
