Mansion on Front is a historic mansion that was converted into 5 one bedroom condos, nestled in the midst of downtown Wilmington’s stunning mansion district. These renovated one bedroom, one bath units are each well appointed with a comfortable bed, a fully equipped kitchen, a clean bathroom, a cozy living room with a smart TV, and an individual water heater. The mansion comes with 5 dedicated parking spots, which is very rare for downtown Wilmington.

This entire mansion with 5individual units is ideal for any type of gathering where people want to be nearby one another but still have separate living spaces, such as: family reunions, housing for a wedding party, a girl’s getaway, a friend trip with 5 couples, or a business trip with 5 people who are carpooling. Together but not TOO together is a perfect way for groups to enjoy a trip together while still having independence and alone time.

There are several common areas, including a large wrap around front porch, a brick patio, and a second floor balcony. All units have access to a shared washer and dryer. Two of the units are on the first floor, two units are on the second floor, and one unit is a split level with an additional half bath. Three units are entered from an interior common area and two units are entered from the outside of the building.

Each of the 5 condos in the mansion is private with a private entrance. You can chill out on the front porch or sit outside in backyard on the patio. The 2nd floor balcony with great views is accessed through a common area. You'll have access to a shared laundry room with coin operated machines inside. You'll also get five parking passes to park a normal size car or small pickup behind the house (free parking in downtown Wilmington!!)

If you walk out the front door onto Front Street, you'll see the glamorous Dudley Mansion from 1825, a stunning 10,000 sq ft estate that was home to North Carolina's first Governor. If you walk out the back door and down the quaint alley driveway to 2nd Street, you'll see block after block of gorgeous Victorian homes. If you love old houses and turn-of-the-century architecture, be sure to make some time to take it in!

Just walk!!! You're very close to restaurants, shopping, nightlife, entertainment, the waterfront and riverwalk, museums, and ghost tours!

The trolley is free and drives by.
Free parking means you can come and go as you like.

Parking:
FREE PARKING BEHIND THE HOUSE:
The alley entrance to the parking area is 9 feet wide. That means you cannot fit a large work van or a big work truck and trailers are not allowed. You will have 5 parking spots.

FREE PARKING ON THE STREET:
If you need additional spots and want to park on the street, where parking is restricted to residents, we can get you a Historic District street parking pass. You will need to pay a $50.00 deposit that we will return when the pass is returned.

Laundry:
There is an on site coin operated laundry facility. We try and keep soaps in there in case you need some.

Checkout:
Checkout is 11am, but we can offer late checkout as availability allows. 12pm checkout is $20, and 1pm checkout is $30. Please contact us first and if we can accommodate your late checkout, we will be happy to.
