Mammoth Cave; Nolin Lake State Park; Nolin River Lake; Green River; Wax Marina

We had a fabulous stay. The house is about 20 minutes from Mammoth Cave, which was our main reason for coming. The house was very clean and the host very communicative. It is a bit far from Cave City, but totally worth the drive. It is in a nice wooded area, about a 5-10 minute walk to the fishing and boating area. It is in the heart of Amish area and very rural - perfect for relaxing. We loved being able to come home from a cave tour or swim at Nilon Lake to a cozy place versus a cold hotel. We cooked most of our meals there and the kitchen had all that we needed. We even spent one full day at the house just playing the many games they have and relaxing. My youngest now wants to move to Kentucky and buy the house when she grows up. 5 stars from all of us (married couple with two teens and 1 upper elementary).

Nice little place to stay. Quiet area with little to no traffic to worry about.Game room was great for my kids to have some fun.Didnt get to enjoy the patio as we were gone hiking most of the stay but set up looked relaxing.Would easily stay here again if we were going to be in the area in the future.

Everything was great, the location, check in process, the cabin was beautiful. Angela was extremely helpful and we had a great vacation.

We enjoyed our stay. We had four small children and the game room was a hit! Helped entertain and wear out for evening.

Very nice and clean. Game room fun. No complaints. Kids toys, ping pong, basketball hoops, darts, card table and board games for activities. Location only got 4 stars because it's not easy turning around a pickup truck in parking area and we were asked not to use neighbor's drive to do this. We eventually just turned around at stop sign and backed 50 feet up into Drive. Not a big problem just a little tight. It's a good house. Set up nicely and full basement made it plenty of room for family. I would recommend this house.

Great place to stay! Wonderful views from back porches. Our kids loves the games i. the basement game room. The house has everything we needed and more and the host even offered the condiments a nd water in th fridge to us. If we lived anywhere near hwre we would definitely stay again!!

Place is in nice condition and everything you need is there. Close to the lake and the cave. Owner is responsive to messages and nice to deal with.

Nice house with games on the basement to keep the kids busy on a rainy day. Enjoyed the fire pit one night (to much rain the others). The loft was a great place for my 3 kids to sleep and have their own bathroom. We brought boats to fish but unfortunately Nolin lake was up about 10 feet or more and everything was flooded. there was a boat ramp around the corner from the house and 2 other just a15 minute drive. Would have been great if it hadn't poured rain for 3 day straight.

We had a great 3 day stay at this Cub Run house. It was cozy, cute, and very clean. The kids loved the ping pong table and availability of so many well kept games and activities. The house and kitchen were well equipped making meal time easy. Beds were comfortable and cozy. We enjoyed evening fires in the fire pit and the quiet area. The boys were excited to see deer in the backyard and explore! Quick trip to Mammoth Cave National Park and Nolin Lake State Park. The host provided information that made the stay easier and communicated well. Would recommend this property for someone looking for a quiet getaway.

Easy drive to Mammoth Caves. House was clean and easy to find. The upstairs room with multiple beds was great for us and our little kids. Would definitely stay here again.
