Makin Waves is located on the first floor of a privately owned home with its own private entrance. The only thing between Makin Waves and the beach are the sand dunes. The beach is only a short distance, approximately 3/4 of mile via access road 1-A. Everything Port Aransas has to offer is only minutes away, including the beach, ferry, marina, golf, shops and restaurants. Stayed Jul 17, 2020Property is right there in Port Aransas, literally close to everything. It was SO CLEAN! It’s nicely decorated, kitchen cooking necessities were provided, there’s washer and dryer which is nice for those wet swimsuits. There was a fridge, tv with cable (my kids loved that!), outdoor shower to get the sand off, WiFi access. We were sad to leave. It was me, my husband, and 3 kids between 1 and 5 years old. We all had a blast and it was nice and private!

Stayed Jun 21, 2019We liked that It was so close to the water. We also enjoy the central feel to town. We don't like that the dishes were rusted and not ready to use.

Stayed May 3, 2024This spot was perfect for our quick get away to the beach. Made for a nice walk to the beach in the morning. The sleep arrangements for our kids was easy with the sofa sleeper and bunk beds all in the same area. We will definitely book this spot again.
