Stayed Aug 30, 2025Our stay at Jan’s cottage was absolutely wonderful. The cottage is spotless, beautifully maintained, and full of thoughtful touches that made our stay extra comfortable. The location is ideal: tucked away in a quiet spot for peace and relaxation, yet just minutes from downtown Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. It was the best of both worlds—close to all the attractions but with the privacy and calm of a retreat. It’s the kind of place you look forward to returning to after each day’s adventure.

Stayed Aug 2, 2025We loved it. It was right on Mt. Desert Island and 10 min from everything, including entrance to Acadia National Park and downtown Bar Harbor. We got the best of both worlds- the town and people amd then went to our secluded quiet space at night. The house had everything we needed. We could not have asked for more:)

Stayed Jun 22, 2025Our family of 6 enjoyed our stay on Gemstone Way! The house met our needs very well and the location is perfect for short trips to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. The house did have a lot of pet hair around, but if you’re not bothered by that it’s a great place to stay! We are very thankful for our time here and we hope to stay here again!

Stayed Sep 21, 2024The home is in a great location, close to everything. Its small, but just enough for the 3 of us. The only bad thing i can say about the house is the musty smell. Noticed it every time we can back from our excursions.
