Great house with a beautiful view. There was plenty of space for our 4 families, well-stocked kitchen, and entertainment for the children. We would stay again!

The location of this property is excellent. Close to Mt Hood, beautiful lakes and creeks and amazing hiking trails. The home is spacious and positioned on the property where every window provides a gorgeous view of the green and lush forest surrounding the home. Sitting in the living room with massive windows was a favorite with a view of a snow covered Mt Hood. The beds were very comfortable. A fireplace would be the icing on the cake. We're crossing fingers that the next time we stay one will be added to this already amazing home.

We had the most restful stay this weekend. The property and surrounding area is gorgeous, even more beautiful than the pictures. Great space for a large group. We are already talking about coming back next year.

Beautiful house and property. We stayed here to attend a wedding at Mt. Hood. Easily accommodated 3 families with 2 adults, 3 adults and 2 adults 2 munchkins. The views of the property out the picture window and from the deck are magnificent. The closet full of kids toys was a great bonus. The kitchen was well outfitted. Beware that the last couple hundred yards on the drive up to the house is pretty steep. We certainly stay here again.

My collage roommates and I have been coming here for the last three years to have our yearly get together. It provides enough beds for us all, a good kitchen and table to share meals and stories. We appreciate the quiet and beautiful views, even if the mountain isn’t visible. Plenty of hikes and things to do outside of the home as well.

It’s a clean & spacious home with an incredible view of Mt. Hood! The longer we stayed-the less we wanted to leave. We enjoyed several trips to the hot tub & restful nights on a comfortable king bed. All beds are the same quality! Great kitchen appliances/dishes, & the bath soap scents are lovely! It was so peaceful, private, and the perfect anniversary weekend getaway! Beyond thankful

Property is in nice condition. Fireplace didn’t work which was disappointing, to be at a mountain without a fireplace seems odd. Like fix it if it doesn’t work. Main level carpet need to be replaced, it dirty and needs to be stretched. Be warned about the gravel road going up to the house, it’s steep.

The house was beautiful, clean and comfortable. It’s a bit of a drive to get there but well worth it. We have some minor suggestions to improve the experience (such as the poor cell service) but overall it was truly lovely. We would definitely come back!

We absolutely loved the space both inside and out. There was so much to see and do. We made amazing meals in the large kitchen. There was plenty of room for everyone. The dogs also loved running around the property and got a ton of exercise. We would love to come back again.

Our group of 5 had an excellent stay on such a beautiful property. They aren't kidding when they say you need chains or tire socks when there's a bunch of snow up there, the driveway to the house is very steep. But very cozy and lovely spot.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home. The views of Mount Hood were incredible. The home is nicely appointed and the property manager provided clear instructions. The TVs are all Roku so have your streaming app passwords ready to go. The hot tub was a big hit with our teenagers. The house is located an hour outside of Portland, 25 minutes south of Gov Camp. We recommend kayaking on Trillium lake, visiting Timberline, and exploring the numerous hiking trails. Zig Zag Falls is a favorite. You will be delighted with this home - it is open, spacious and sunny, gorgeous views, plenty of towels and bath/kitchen accessories (soaps, detergents, etc.) for our week stay.

We had a wonderful time staying at the Mountain View Retreat! The property is beautifully landscaped and very serene. We loved strolling around the property on our rest days from hiking. The cabin itself is spacious and clean, with gorgeous views of Mt. Hood. The itrip hosts were quick to respond to and address any issues we had with the cabin. We will definitely be coming back!
