Stayed May 28, 2021The location of the house is great. You can see the beach and walk to local restaurants or visit local attraction within short drive. I guess the inclement weather was not completely expected but, allowed us to enjoy the house and the comfortable space available to us.

Stayed Aug 30, 2019We had a wonderful stay at this clean and comfortable home. The property had everything you could need at your fingertips and was steps away from Short Sands Beach. Ed was easy to work with and the process was very smooth. Would highly recommend this property!

Stayed Aug 17, 2019This was a great home for our family vacation. The location is ideal for easy/quick access to Short Sands Beach, the house is spacious and accommodates large parties comfortably, the space was tidy and clean; we enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to stay here again! One note worthy consideration is that AC is only available in one bedroom, and the dining room-although a fan is provided in every bedroom. The AC in the dining room keeps the common spaces in the downstairs level comfortable, but several of our family members felt the upstairs bedrooms were too hot even with fans and windows open. Just something to consider If you are sensitive to such things. This would not stop us from renting this house again. And 1 bedroom is accessible on the main floor which is convenient if you travel with a party that does not want to climb stairs often.

Stayed May 16, 2019It was perfect for a weekend celebration of our youngest daughter’s college graduation and our celebration of no more college tuition. It was convenient to Durham and perfect for the whole family to be together in a beautiful area.

Stayed Sep 7, 2018Beautiful setting and location. The house is very clean and homey and comes with everything you can imagine, that would be needed for a weeks’ stay. I will definitely be considering it for future trips with either family or friends.
