Mahogany Point 2 – A Beachfront Townhouse with amazing views-by Cayman Villas

Quiet North Side location with beautiful ocean views. Even though it was quite windy during our stay, we were still able to snorkel right out front, which was a big plus. The area is peaceful, but it is a bit of a drive to restaurants and other activities.The home itself was spacious and generally well-equipped, with an easy check-in process and a very friendly on-site manager. The pool is on the smaller side. That said, the home could use some attention, with a few repairs and updates needed. The WiFi and hot water were intermittent at times, which was a bit inconvenient.

We loved the quiet area and close proximity to Rum Point. There were days we felt like we had the property to ourselves.

This location was absolutely stunning and the accomodations were excellent. I would highly recommend staying here and look forward to visiting again!

The Mahogany Point #2 is a beautiful property with a gorgeous view right out the door! We enjoyed every minute of our week-long vacation.

House was very clean, comfortable beds, lots of towels and amenities. The area was very quiet and grocery store nearby made our stay perfect. Stunning sunrise and beautiful sunsets. Great snorkeling, but bring water shoes for rocky area. Rental car is a must. Will definitely return.

The villa is as advertised for the most part. It is a vary laid back setting and beautiful area. The villa is very clean and well stocked. The outside can use some TLC. There were lattice dividers missing outside along the patio. There is a small Weber charcoal grill on the patio. However, there was no charcoal or grill tools. A grill brush would be nice so guests can clean the grill after use.We kayaked and snorkeled along the reef just about every day. Not a good area for just swimming. Water shoes are a must due to the rocky ocean bottom. But the water is shallow and beautiful. The reef helps protect the shoreline when there is a North wind and the seas get rough. Snorkeling is very easy due to the shallow water.The pool is very nice. Most of the time we were the only ones using it.Our only criticism regarding the Villa is the lack of separation between the patios for Villa 1 and Villa 2. The two patios are on the same level and connected. Villa 1 has chaise lounge chairs sitting on the patio right next to the Villa 2 patio. When guests in Villa 1 are using those chairs, they are literally right on top of the patio for Villa 2. Therefore, there is absolutely no privacy. Fortunately, this was only an issue once during our stay. The owners really need to consider putting lattice or a dividing wall up to separate the patios.Otherwise, we highly recommend Mahogany Point if you are looking for a quiet, laid back area for your stay.

Away from the hustle and bustle of the touristy section of 7 mile beach. Water front with excellent snorkeling. House was stocked we the convenience items. Property Manager was very nice and responsive! Would definitely stay again!
