Absolutely loved our stay. 14 adults fit more than comfortably with room to spare. Would highly recommend this stay and plan to stay again!

Amazing stay! The host was incredibly responsive and the house was perfect for a big group. You can’t beat being right on the beach in such a quiet, beautiful area. Comfortable beds and a seamless experience—we’ll definitely be back!

We stayed at this home for a staff retreat for two days. The location was fantastic. Very close to the beach and easy parking. The house itself is large but broken up into three separate areas. If you’re looking for a house that can sleep a lot of people this is a great option. we had 13 people stay overnight and it fit us just fine.I also had to request an earlier check-in and the property manager was very accommodating and helpful with handling that for me.

Our stay was for a retreat for 22 men. We ended up with 18. The house had a large living room that was ample space for the large group meetings. There were also other places that allowed us to have 4 breakout groups. The kitchen was well stocked for cookware, though we came prepared with electric skillets, stove top griddles and a coffee urn. We were disappointed that the barbecue did not work, but were able to improvise from our original barbecue dinner plan.Everyone enjoyed the beach house and the longtimers felt it was the best place we've been to since we've been doing this retreat since 2005.Sleeping 18 men was tenuous. 2 guys in a queen size mattress was a little crowded. We came prepared with air mattresses and sleeping bags. The manager had also left some cots for us to use, which was thoughtful and helpful.Overall, we had a wonderful experience.

This home was great for our extended family vacation. There was a place for everyone to feel comfortable and call their own, as well as great spaces to have fun being together. The beachfront location could not be beat!

Right at the beach. Beach toys and chairs aplenty. Clean with plenty of hot water for 16 of us to shower. Beautiful views, TV and wi-fi were good. Great kitchen, living room and dining room for so many people. Lots of beds. Weather could have been sunnier but hard to pin that on the VRBO house.

We stayed a long weekend at Mandalay Beach House. The location was excellent, it truly sits on the sand of the beach. There was plenty of room for our large party to stay and enjoy ourselves.The house itself is a bit older, but it is clean and welcoming. Overall we enjoyed our stay. The property owner/manager was quick to respond and was very helpful.

We had friends and family from all over the country coming in for a wedding. This house was the only one I could find listed that allowed for all the people to have sleeping privacy. And a kitchen, eating area, and sitting space big enough to accommodate everyone at once. And everyone was thrilled to be right on the beach. We even had a garage to keep all the wedding stuff so we didn’t have to worry about it out on the street.

Property was amazing! It was hard getting the lock box open but you just have to pull on it a little harder. This house was perfect for a large group trip.

The place was a beautiful stay for a large group. My bridal party and I were staying there and the location was perfect for a California stay. We’d walk along the beach and the place was close to the areas we were visiting. There were more than enough beds for each of us and the place was very clean. It has lots of natural light. We would stay here again!

The house is so spacious, super comfortable for a big group. The living space upstairs has incredible views, we enjoyed the sunsets right on the beach just steps away, as well as from both the rooftop balcony and second floor balcony of the house. A great stay in a beautiful home!

The property was perfect for our family get together. The kitchen was perfect for cooking with the family and you had beautiful views of the beach from the kitchen and living room! We could all fit around the living room and hang out and talk. Just steps from the sand, we played on the beach all day and even got in some hoops at the basketball court! Everyone had their own space in this spacious property and it was just perfect for us!

The house was so comfortable for all 16 of us, ranign from 9 to 69 years old. Right on the beach!

We booked this location for a women's retreat and it did not disappoint! The views were fantastic and the space was perfect for us to spend time together while also having room to retreat into our own spaces. Steve was very communicative and helpful! I coach a collegiate volleyball team and we stayed here for a local tournament. The location is top notch and the house itself fit us all very well. I would recommend this as a place to stay for any larger groups!

Our family- including 6 from UK stayed here for 5 nights over New Years. Games, talking and way too much eating! This place was perfect for a large family and has a great beach and a park with volleyball and basketball court. I highly recommend it!

Our second visit to the Mandalay Beach House for our family Christmas gathering. Incredible huge park 3 blocks away, beach across from the front porch, unobstructed sunset every night, great game and dinner table for the 10 adults in our family and the huge open Kitchen/dining/living room space all looking out across the beach and ocean was a treat. kitche/eating/living room space

We held a family gathering (3 families - 14 people) with age ranges from 1 to 60 years old. The views and beach access were amazing and there were plenty of toys/balls for the kids (not really kids) to play with. We were surprised to find that the main gathering area was big enough and with plenty of seating for us all to hang out together without feeling cramped at all. The layout of the house was perfect for finding a quiet room for the sleeping baby while the talking and laughter were going on. The kitchen had everything we needed and the house was very clean. We will definitely stay here again if we are lucky enough to gather as a large family or friend group.

Massive place works well for large multi generational family groups. Windows get dirty in a hurry, we sprayed with hose and had a much more clear view of ocean and beach

Upon arriving, we were shocked at how faded the home was and how narrow it was based on the pictures listed. The listing makes it look grand. The front door was stuck, and the other exterior door by the front door could hardly be opened. I told the handyman, but nothing happened. The home is dated throughout. There are 24 paragraphs of rules emailed right before your reservation starts. The BBQ burned our steak and then stopped working altogether. The main level is upstairs and it is the only kitchen. We were provided a small amount of tissue, paper towel and dish pods and had to buy our own. One rule is you have to supply your own beach towel. None provided and you're not allowed to take the bath towels to the beach. The downstairs has a sink and refrigerator only. The home is adjacent to a beach park, it's not ocean front, but you still have a great view of the ocean. The windows however were all covered in salt and were not washed before our stay. I expected a little more for over a grand a night..

We have used this property 10-15 times I believe. We use it for staff retreats and Leadership Team meetings. It's hard to find a place where we can all be together in one location. So this has worked well.

Very interesting house with a lot of character! Overall totally worked out and met our larger group’s needs. Kinda sucked that only one of three microwaves was working when we were there but I get it - it was their busy season. Three great fridges. Pretty much only the second floor kitchen is useable for cooking which means you’ll be using that main staircase all day long. Perfect beach access and beach. Awesome living room gathering area. They provided many helpful extras like patio chairs, beach chairs, and beach toys. Communication with host was not at all my style but it worked out in the end. Thanks for a great time!

This was our yearly family get together. 11 of us in this spacious house with plenty of room for everyone. We had a great time, the house, the water, the beach it was all there for our enjoyment.
