MAGNIFICENT CHALET SOUTH LAKE TAHOE-Heavenly, Tahoe Rim Trail, 10

Beautiful house and we loved the location. We really enjoyed all the patios and the outdoor hot tub. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed for cooking. The house was very clean and the master bedroom/bathroom are fabulous. There are Christmas decorations up which we found a bit odd and a lot of family photos. The hosts were very communicative and reached out with information about things to do in the area. The only feedback I would give is to reduce the amount of information as it was simply too much, particularly in the email about check in which included things like door codes and Wifi. The important information was hard to find in a very lengthy email that included a lot of unnecessary information. Lake Tahoe is such a beautiful place to visit and this house was perfect for our group of 10 friends. Thanks for sharing your home with us!

The house was amazing. To start off, it’s a great location, up away from the main strip of casinos but very quick to get to everything. The house was spacious for a large group to hang out together or have their own space. Everything was clean and organized, and the amenities were fantastic. Property owners were great with recommendations and quick responses to house needs!

This is a beautiful property, warm, cozy and inviting. Very spacious with all the amenities you need and then some. Lovely 2 sided fireplace in the living room, a jacuzzi on one of the balconies, and a sauna and foosball table. Kitchen is huge and great for cooking some wonderful meals. Bedrooms are well appointed, and bathrooms are very nice. Hosts are extremely gracious and very helpful with information both for the property itself and Tahoe in general. It was a very easy booking and checkin process and you are made to feel like family from the get go. Huge screen TV in living room and one smaller one in sitting room. They all have the ability to stream with your own accounts but unfortunately don't have basic cable or network stations. only free samsung plus stations. Overall this is an amazing property for adults and families, in probably one of the nicest most serene communities in Tahoe. Its the only area we stay at when we go to Tahoe. You basically have the National forest right around the corner for hiking winter or summer and very secluded and quiet. And for the skiers, snowboarders and sledders you are only a 15 min drive to it all!! We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Hosts were amazing. They sent over tons of activities restaurants, and golf course ideas to do while we were therenandb very easy to get a hold of. The place worked great for a group of 8 (4 couples) band was just a few miles from all the action, including casinos, beaches, and Heavenly.

Great stay

Our family had a comfortable and wonderful stay at this mountain retreat. Patti, our host, was so responsive, and answered all our questions and in addition provided great descriptions of local things to do and places to dine! The home itself is well stocked with everything you might need for cooking and normal day to day living. The hot tub is large and nicely kept, and the large, elevated deck that the hot tub is on has a great view, and is a great place to hang out for everyone in your party. No A/C, but at 7,500' elevation the nights are plenty cool for great sleep. The beds were comfy, middle range for hardness/softness with plenty of quality pillows. One of the Tahoe Rim Trailheads is about 800 feet away from the house, so we did a good bit of hiking while there. South Lake Tahoe is a quick 5 minute drive down the hill, so food shopping and restaurants are well at hand. Really can't think of any negatives to write, the home was pretty well perfect for us. We would definitely stay here again on future Tahoe visits.

We had a great July 4th stay at the home. The property is located just minutes from a beautiful hike with a lake view that was a great way to start off mornings. We were the first to stay in the house, so we anticipated to be a part of a learning curve, but truly everything was great! The only minor bit was it seemed like the cleaners neglected to clean the outdoor furniture which we had to wipe down ourselves, but overall no biggie. Hosts were EXTREMELY accommodating and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Would stay again. Thank you so much!
