Luxury Villa with housekeeping in Aroeira Golf Resort. 2km to Beach. 20km Lisbon

This is a perfect house for 8 people as each bedroom has its own bathroom. The house is well equipped and Paula the owner is very communicative and helpful, with lots of suggestions. We had a few issues that were beyond her control but she did her very best to help. I would say you definitely need to hire a car if you rent this property. The pool is unheated and doesn't get much sun so it was very chilly! A real bonus was having the lovely Luisa in twice during the week to clean the villa.

We had a group of six friends and family. Well, we considered us all family. We had a fabulous time in Lisbon and surrounding cities of the coasts and winery regions. We traveled from one end of the country to the other seeing many sites each day. The house was very comfortable for all of us we especially enjoyed making dinner together a few nights. Thank you Paula for all your help!

This house is so spectacular and so incredibly clean, that I was able to fully relax and feel at home from the moment we stepped inside. But as beautiful as the house was, it was not even the best part. The owner and hostess Paula was. Paula was the most gracious, friendly, helpful and wonderful host we could have ever wished for. And quite possibly one of the kindest and most welcoming people we have met. My son has a serious metabolic disorder and is on a very strict diet. Paula helped translate an info card, that we could use at restaurants - her idea by the way. She also provided maps and suggestions of places to eat. She even went to one of the restaurants prior to our arrival and spoke to the manager about our situation. Asides from my son’s special needs, she also stayed in regular contact with us via WhatsApp, providing us with tourist advice, guidance, tech support and suggestions. Even took time out to help us get an Uber when we couldn’t find one big enough for our group. By the way, for trips and airport transfers we recommend CasualtoursXL (instagram)- driver Miguel. Paula found him for us and has his information. The housekeeper Caice was also so very sweet. All in all a wonderful place to spend a holiday - the warmest and biggest recommendations from us. We will be back! :)

Beautiful Villa which was very well presented. The area is very impressive with stunning villas in a woodland golf course setting. The host Paula was a lovely person who met us at the Villa, she was fantastic very informative and always available if you needed her. Everything worked and in truth the pictures don’t do justice as the Villa is very spacious with lovely large rooms well furnished and just a wonderful place to stay. Can’t recommend this Villa enough.

Wonderful stay in a prime residential location within walking distance of beaches, restaurants and shopping needs. Fantastic host. We were a guest for 15 days and the stay exceeded our expectations.

A fantastic week with the family! What a beautifully decorated villa, comfortable and well-equipped for our family of 8, including grandparents and young children. Everything is perfect in this cozy house. The outside is also well organized, and the little ones loved the treehouse and various games. The villa is in a peaceful location. The welcome was fabulous. Paula promptly answers all our questions and is available to give numerous recommendations on places to visit, restaurants, and nearby beaches. I would return without hesitation!

We had a lovely week-long stay during our son's golf tournament. The house matched the description and we were welcomed in person, and there was even a basket of groceries. We had a second family join us for several days and the place is super well stocked with all the entertainment necessities. We even hired the chef who prepared a delicious restaurant quality meal. We enjoyed walks in the area and the house is very well located for the golf courses and the other activities offered by the community.

Our family had an amazing stay. Thank you to Paula and all the staff that made it feel like home.

We enjoyed our stay very much at Villa Aroeira. Very comfortable. We loved the backyard, playing games and drinking wine. Both kids and grandparents were happy. The location was great. The beach just down the hill was absolutely beautiful huge and sandy. We went on cooler weekday mornings and were practically the only people there- amazing. It was very crowded on the hot weekend, but still very nice. My daughter enjoyed some surf lessons there. We also enjoyed the restaurants at the beach. Day trips to Lisbon and around were nice. We thought the resort grounds were not as clean as we would have liked. There were a lot of messy construction sites and trash containers around. But that really didn’t bother us. It is just an eyesore. We also had some difficulty sending emails and communicating with the owner, but that might have been a technology issue. We had the chef cook for us three nights and loved it. His meals were delicious and gourmet and not expensive. All in all we thought the house was wonderful! Thank you very much.

We enjoyed our stay. The villa was perfect. It had everything you could think about in the kitchen, a smart TV, a nice outdoor area, refreshing pool, and a tranquil location. Grocery stores in vicinity, as well as, beautiful beaches, For those interested in surfing, I would recommend Echo Surfers at Kailua restaurant/beach club. Lisbon, itself, 20 minute drive with Sintra less than 40 minutes away. Paula, the owner, was very helpful and insightful. She not only provided a very detailed map outlining the airport to villa but also maps of the area and included tourist information over Lisbon and surrounding areas. She was very easy to speak to and responded quickly to any questions posed. All-in-all, definitely would recommend this property for all those who want comfort and privacy.
