Designed for both entertaining and serene relaxation, it features an open-concept kitchen, multiple living areas, large-group dining, breathtaking woodwork, a two-story cupola, indoor and outdoor stone fireplaces, and a covered deck and patio.

6 Bedrooms:
Primary: King bed with ensuite
Second Primary: King bedwith ensuite
Upstairs 1: Queen bed sharing jack and jill bath
Upstairs 2: Queen bed sharing jack and jill bath
Bunkhouse: 2 sets of twin bunk beds and a trundle, plus a double size bunk bed, for a total of five twin beds and two full size beds.
Bunkhouse loft: Queen bed

There is a king bedroom with ensuite on the main floor, and a king bedroom and ensuite on the first floor. On the upper floor, two more queen bedrooms share a jack and jill bathroom. The wonderfully appointed bunk house sleeps 9+ and has an additional living area and kitchenette.

The wooded lakefront cabin is located on 40 acres at the end of a secluded and serene cove on Nolin Lake. It is the only home in the entire gated property, located just six miles from Wax Marina, and only nine miles from Mammoth Cave National Park.

The first floor includes a spacious open floor-plan great room with a stone gas fireplace that looks up into a two-story cupola. Plenty of comfortable sofas surround the fireplace sitting areas. A large dining table is situated close to the kitchen, and provides ample space for a large gathering

The granite countertop island is large enough for a sizable buffet, and has a five-burner gas cooktop and six barstools. The Chef's kitchen offers everything you will need, including a farmhouse sink, stainless steel appliances, a stand-alone ice maker, pots and pans, coffee maker, prep and cooking utensils, serving platters and bowls, small appliances and pantry staples. The kitchen is stocked with dishes, silverware, and glassware for 24.

Down the hall from the great room, the first floor bedroom with king bed is situated to view the trees from the beautiful bay windows. A two-sink vanity and tiled walk-in shower, two closets, as well as a private entry to the covered deck await the guests that occupy this suite.

Just off the kitchen, a pantry with pull-out shelves, mudroom/laundry, and a half bath complete the first floor.

Up the stairs, with another impressive view of the estate, there are two Queen bedrooms with a jack and jill bathroom. The bathroom has a double-sink vanity that is separated from the bath/shower combo and toilet, giving privacy for multiple guests. A pack and play is available in the closet.

Let the fun begin downstairs with a pool table, wet bar with beverage refrigerator, large screen television and plenty of plush seating to watch a movie or the big game! Over 250 DVDs await movie buffs. Indoor time can be filled with the array of board games, cards and toys. A second full-size refrigerator is located in the storage area.

An additional king bedroom with the same footprint as the first floor bedroom is located down the hall from the basement living area. Here, another two-sink vanity, tiled shower and two closets, as well as a private entry to the covered patio await the guests of this suite.

Just steps away from the main home, a wonderfully appointed bunkhouse with two additional bedrooms, kitchenette with sink and beverage refrigerator, a full bathroom with shower/bath and living area can occupy additional guests, including all of the kids and teenagers. They will have a ping-pong table, full size arcade game with over 1,000 games, large screen television, sectional sofa and gaming chairs to immerse them at night or anytime they need a break from outdoor activities. The bunk room has three sets of bunk beds and a trundle, for a total of five twins and two full size. The upstairs loft bedroom has a queen size bed, and is perfect for adults that want to supervise and sleep in the same home as the children.

From the gorgeous interior, step outside to the IPE exotic hardwood constructed deck to enjoy nearly 750 square feet of covered porch with built-in outdoor stone fireplace, gas grill (we provide the propane), and outdoor dining table. Beautiful forested views surround you, and yet the gentle sloping path to your private dock on Nolin Lake is directly in front of the home. A swim ladder from the dock gives you access to the private cove, located directly across from a nature preserve, providing peace and quiet.

The entire home is outfitted with bed linens, comforters, plush blankets and comfortable & supportive mattresses. Look forward to 100-percent cotton towels in the bathrooms.

An outdoor utility closet houses a double hammock and corn hole, and an oversize Jenga game. Pack up some beverages to take with you out on the lake using the commercial grade wagon. Put on your sneakers and take a hike across the 40-acre property. You won't have to leave the estate during your entire stay!

The home is located within minutes of several ramps and marinas including Dog Creek boat ramp, Wax Marina, Moutardier Marina, and Ponderosa Marina.

For boat and jet ski rental we recommend two marinas. Moutardier is closest to the home by boat and their website is: moutardiernolin.com. Wax Marina is closest to the home via car and their website is: waxmarinanolin.com

This property was a perfect fit for our group of friends. The house was clean and had every amenity we needed. The owner was extremely helpful with making arrangements and filling us in on local information as needed. The property was also beautiful and well maintained.

Our extended family of 19 got together here, and it was a great spot. The kitchen is well stocked and there was plenty of room for everyone to gather together for meals. The kids loved the bunk house, basement and swimming off the dock. We rented a pontoon with a water slide from Wax Marina for a day and would definitely recommend. Swimming with little children is difficult since there isn’t a beach, but there are several options within a 30 minute drive!

This is a great property that can accommodate a larger group easily. The main house is very nice, some highlights were the well stocked kitchen, relaxing den area, and the back porch with a wood burning fireplace (and plenty of firewood available). The bunk house is better for kids than adults, though our adults managed just fine! WiFi worked pretty well for being so remote. The owner was friendly and communicative, and they left a bottle of red and white wine. Many thanks for hosting our group!

Our family of 6 adults and 4 children had a wonderful time at Timber Lake Lodge! We rented a pontoon boat at Wax Marina and fishing from the dock was very productive. We also grilled our dinners and made smores on the deck. The golf cart was great for going back and forth down to the dock. Everyone enjoyed staying at this beautiful place.

Our group was a family of 3 generations. We enjoyed the home so very much! There are many opportunities to include the entire group in games, skits & the outdoors. Our visit was during the summer Olympics which prompted an Olympic ping-pong tournament! The lake was beautiful, so clean & calm. We enjoyed boating, kayaking, fishing & swimming. Nightly corn hole games were fun, as was an indoor Bingo tournament. The house itself is very beautiful & accommodating, with lots & lots of extras throughout. We especially appreciated having wi-fi available for those who needed to attend to responsibilities off site. Thank you, Kristin for your quick responses to my questions. You have been a wonderful host!

Our family has stayed twice at this well appointed and quiet home. Plenty of room to spread out for activities or to just chill in the wrap around porch. We did the golf cart this year and highly recommend getting it if you plan on going down to the lake.

The lake house was perfect for our family of 19. Enough space that everyone had a spot to relax. Although Mother Nature did not cooperate, with all the rain before our arrival, causing us not to utilze the lake, we survived. We enjoyed it being close to other activities in the area. Easy access to Louisville and Bowling Green. We spent a lot of time on the patio just soaking up the quiet peacefulness. The kids didn’t even miss not being in the lake. They had plenty of games to keep them busy. This is the first time we’ve rented a house. We will definitely do this again. Highly recommend this rental!!!

The house was amazing! Plenty of room and decorated perfectly. IT is clear a lot of thought has gone into making this cabin a fantastic experience for guests. We loved every minute of our stay. Also Kristin was incredibly communicative every step of the way and when a major storm hit the state just before our trip, she got things taken care of and kept us informed. The private dock is fantastic and the land is beautiful. Cannot recommend this cabin enough, we will be back!
