Welcome to The Fruit of the Spirit Cabins!

Make yourself at home in this newly built 2-bedroom, 2 full bathroom retreat, complete with a Traeger Ironwood 885 smoker/grill and 70 private acres to explore, with trails, amazing rock formations, caves, and a waterfall over 100 ft tall!
The first floor bedroom has a queen bed and the lower level bebroom has a king bed. There is also a queen sofa sleeper in the lower level game room.

Hi! I’m Diana and my husband Brent and Ilovingly finished this cabin with attention to every detail. We ran a family remodeling business in Ohio for 25 years and are now moving to Cub Run to build this beautiful retreat center and work the land full-time. We currently have a loft for rent above our first barn, (which will eventually have a little storefront) and this is our first cabin on this property and we are so excited to share it with you! We owned a vacation rental down the street and sold it with the goal of building two cabins. We are now in the process of building our second cabin, which is going to be awesome, with a glass garage door in the kitchen!

Once complete, we plan to host small events, family gatherings and retreats. Our goal is to give back 10% to churches that choose Fruit of the Spirit Cabins and Retreat Center for their events and retreats.

There are a lot of vacation rentals popping up in the area, but as previous guests have told us, none compare to our amenities, cleanliness and amazing property! Come and see it for yourself, and if we are around, we’ll even take your for a tour in our sxs :)

Nestled among the rolling acres of Amish farms all around, please drive slowly as there are often buggies and Amish on foot, who will always wave hello, so be sure to do the same:)

We have plenty of room to park boats and toys!! Centrally located with boat ramp right down at the end of our road, 8 miles to Blue Holler ATV park, 11 miles to Nolin Lake State Park, and an hour to the Mammoth Cave visitor center if you take the ferry, always call first, Green River Ferry Hotline at (270) 758-2166) Come get away from it all and discover God's country!

** NO HUNTING ALLOWED
**HIKE AT YOUR OWN RISK

**THIS PROPERTY DOES NOT HAVE A SPA OR POOL, I HAVE HAD VRBO CORRECT THIS COUNTLESS TIMES BUT THEIR AI IS LABELING THE PICTURES OF THE GROUNDS INCORRECTLY

Great modern updated cozy cabin. There is a large property for hiking with great landmarks - waterfalls, creek, boulders, etc. Whole experience was great.

Fantastic property! Super clean and had everything we needed. This was the perfect quiet spot to get away with my sister and our husbands. We enjoyed a day kayaking and a day at Mammoth Cave. I can't wait to see what you do with the rest of the property. We will be back!!

The pictures simply don’t do this place justice. Not only is the cabin brand new and smells brand new and everything is new inside… but the property itself was absolutely breath taking!! My dog and I went on several hikes to the various places on the property like the waterfalls and the caves and I’ve never seen anything like it ever and I’ve traveled the world. And on top of the privacy and new accommodations and the limitless places to explore, the hosts are everything you could ask for. So generous, kind and communicative!

We had a wonderful stay! The attention to detail in the cabin is noticeable, from the light fixtures and rain shower head to the hammock and fire pit. We enjoyed the family games, marble run and grill. The property is beautiful, with many hikes and areas to explore. Such a fun place!

My husband and I stayed a few days with our teens and dog. The property is beautiful! We all enjoyed hiking over the 75 acres. The self made map was so helpful. Our tween daughter was our navigator on our hike and managed the map easily. Our dog loved the freedom of exploring with us. We did manage to make it to Mammoth Cave and it was a fun trip. Spent the rest of our short trip grilling and playing games. Definitely recommend!

Amazing property! The unit is cozy and appointed with everything you need (and then some) and the property is gorgeous. If you enjoy hiking or just being out in nature, you won’t be disappointed. Mammoth Cave is about 30 min crossing the Green River by ferry or almost an hour the other way but either way it is a beautiful drive. Fantasic stay!

We had a great time the property is gorgeous and missing nothing. It's super clean and the host is so nice with answering all questions quickly and promptly. We hope to return in the spring or summer and stay at the new cabin they are building. We could have easily spent our entire trip on the property grounds and not went see mammoth cave although the cave was great too.

The house is just as described, all new and equipped with everything we needed. We enjoyed the deck with fire-in-table for a large family dinner. Diana was extremely easy to work with, addressed our questions and concerns quickly, and was very accommodating. We took a tour of the property in a 4x4 type vehicle and admired the rock formations and waterfall. To walk the property would have been too strenuous due to the steep grade. Because the ferry was closed, it was a 50 minute drive to Mammoth Cave visitor's center.

We stayed for a couple of nights and the house and property are better than described! We loved walking the trails and discovering some of the beautiful waterfalls and caves. The drive to Mammoth cave was a bit farther than expected (Visitor Center is about 50 min drive) but not sure if this is a VRBO/listing issue or a GPS thing as the property itself is actually very close to the park. Overall we had a wonderful time, the host was amazing and responded to our questions almost instantly. They also have amazing neighbors who treated us to an unexpected side by side tour through the trails. Truly a hidden gem.

Our stay at the cabin was amazing. The owners put so much thought and details into the place. Even the hand soaps and bath supplies were great! 10/10 recommended from our entire family!!
