The Neighborhood:

This family-friendly area is frequented by locals and visitors alike looking to explore the streets and the beach. While this home maintains proximity to the airport, the Nantucket downtown area has small shops, restaurants, and markets, only 15 minutes from our residence. The shoreline is easily accessible by several neighboring beaches, and downtown Nantucket is just a short bike ride away via the Surfside and Milestone Road Paths.



Getting Around:

Want to explore We’ve got you covered. There are several different transportation options near us. There are two bike rentals near our home (bikes can be delivered right to the house); Island Bike Company Inc. and Easy Rider Bicycle Rentals. But, if cycling isn’t your speed, Hertz Rentals is about a 15 minute walk away. Downtown Nantucket is just a shuttle or 20 min bike ride from our home, so you can go from beach to town in no time. Just remember to bike safely and wear a helmet!

    Very nice property, host was very responsive and accommodating allowed us a late checkout Also had the outside top stair to kitchen fixed immediately when I mentioned it was wobbly

    The house was very spacious and offered a lot of privacy. It was beautifully landscaped. The kitchens were well-equipped. The layout of the home and grounds are excellent. There were a few things that would have improved our experience. The pool was not heated upon arrival due to a storm. The house was poorly cleaned. Surfaces were dirty. Linens had stains. The closets were quite small and many of the doors were very difficult to open. Overall, there were many aspects of the house that required maintenance. The most frustrating issue was not being able to access the Wi-Fi. I messaged back and forth about the pw not working and I was sent the same response about the pw (which did not fix the issue). I finally messaged the hospitality phone number listed inside the house and no one responded. For the price paid, I would have expected better conditions with the maintenance. Overall, I would consider staying here again only if the maintenance issues were resolved.
